I finally see what you all were talking about with the whole waking up on the ship thing.

[Pietro looks tense, but he's dressed, at least. However, the uniform is unfamiliar. He's clearly still inside the ship.]

But can someone tell me why my powers aren't working?!

[His voice climbs a few octaves closer to panic at the end.]

[The slick dark metal wall curving away behind Tony's shoulder is indication enough that he's on the ship, too, though somewhere deeper in than the pod chambers.]

Because Salvation got tired of people putting holes in her and took away everyone's toys. You seriously don't remember that?

[Different Pietro? No, he referenced waking up on the ship like he knew what was going on.

Which means he must be the same Pietro Tony had spoken to before, during the reality meltdown.

And I sure as hell had my powers last visit, Tony! This is not okay!

[Okay, so he's whining a little. He's allowed.]

[Said in a bit of a 'duh' tone which wouldn't be present if it wasn't for the fact that the guy referenced having heard about waking up on the ship, which meant he should be familiar with how it worked. Except he apparently hadn't been informed of that, and apparently ended up here without waking up on the ship before.]

How'd you end up here before without waking up on the ship?

Verdammt, are you still crazy? I got better after a couple days. Leave the ship, weirdo. You'll be doing that annoying tornado thing again.

[He looks cheerful even as he tries to deadpan. A Pietro is better than no Pietro, especially for Todd and Molly.]

Yeah, because you weren't on Salvation when you first went cuckoo for cocoa puffs.

Follow the hall lights and head out the airlock. The dead zone's confined to the ship.

Did Mr. Stark get you straightened out?

[He waves at the camera.] I haven't seen you for a while. Welcome back.

Unless... well, if you don't remember me, it doesn't matter. We only talked the one time.

[Pietro actually looks relieved enough to not be too offended at the snipe. He starts moving.]

And I'm not crazy, thanks. My stuff's even here, this time.

[He waves a book of some sort - a journal or scrapbook, maybe - in front of the video feed]

You know, we never actually figured that one out. One minute I was home, asleep, the next I was in the middle of a freaking alien city, with everyone telling me I was supposed to be someone else.

[He rolls his eyes a little]

I guess now I have to wake up the 'traditional' way for some reason.

I'm not crazy! My stuff's here and everything! So I do exist, darn it.

[He's a little exasperated, but hey. At least Nightcrawler is German again and less... jerkish, right?]

Huh. That makes no sense, but then again, nothing here does.

But yeah, I'm outside now, and everything's running at normal speed. Thankfully. Or I might have to hit something.

[The world isn't supposed to run at normal speed, dammit.]

And Tony's here, of course, but even if he did remember me - which he doesn't - calling him a 'friend' is kiiind of a stretch.

[The last part is said with a bit of a smile and good humor, though. He doesn't get along with Stark, maybe, but he's glad there's an Avenger here nonetheless.]

I'll keep that in mind if I'm in the neighborhood.

[Armand can't claim to get along with the man either, though there isn't any specific conflict or even incident behind it. Armand is simply intimidated by him.]
