[ There is so much in that quiet sound: a disdain, a hint of oh, another primitive, and still a mild amount of respect. A commander, at least. ]

[He can hear that disdain. Nietzscheans are good for that.] I take pride in being a soldier.

I'm not certain of you, sorcerers are few and far between where I'm from. [But, despite his doubts, if something works then it's up to someone else to find the scientific explanation later.]

How does one find shadow and starlight?

Starlight may be extracted, from absorbent materials. And shadow may be cast.

Your certainty or lack of it will not affect the spell. I am no charlatan.

Lack of certainty aside, I'm willing to take chances. I own many materials that have been exposed to starlight and in large doses.
