[Rhade sounds a little distant when he speaks. Less forceful than usual, because he's having a What is the point? moment. His tone is a little cracked and weary, even.]
If anyone sees Kara Thrace, please inform her her that I liberated one of her bottles of alcohol from her new living establishment. If anyone sees Diziet Sma? -Well. You're not going to. She's back in her pod aboard the ship to last until the power gives out, anyway.
I would recommend if anyone who woke up in the ship has recently disappeared, you go and look for them there. It may be a sign of further malfunction.
[And he shuts off the feed.]
*OOC: Early before the windstorm on Wednesday, before the fire has started.

[She's not asking for an answer--he's probably as confused by that as she is. She doesn't want to cry wolf, but this just screams 'inside agent' to her.]

[He probably knew more about what she was than anyone else.]

[Especially not on a public network.]

Like I said, you might want to have a look around.

[Private]
And don't let anything happen to my captain.
[private]
Where are you? [They need to talk. Strategy-talk, talk that can't occur over the network.]
[private]
I didn't know. No one mentioned it, but that girl is here too. The one who could see into the future.
[private]
At the latter part, her brow's knitting, not that he can see it. There's a pause.] See into the future-... [Thinking thinking thinking--] River? [Because her first few days here, she had boy!River clinging to her like a leech, but then he went missing and after a week or two's searching there really wasn't much to do about it. Somehow, she never thought to look back in his pod, but that makes sense, doesn't it?]
[private]
He didn't know her that well, but she drives the situation home. She had a lot of people fighting for her. And there they were...]
[action]
After a few seconds of silence:] So how many is this, now?
Kara, Diziet, Kirk, River--hell, both Rivers--Chell...
[She's looking to him now, because she's had a thought.]
The telepaths Kara was on about. The Xaviers. One of them-... [She can't exactly say he's outright missing, not until she's looked quite a bit more, but:] I can't find him. [Not that Rhade has any particular reason to care, on a personal level. She's more just taking stock of who is or isn't still around.]
[action]
He's worth looking for. He's someone they might have wanted alive, considering his abilities. Alive and theirs, or shut down. But Diziet, they had no way of knowing what she was.
[action]
[As for Charles:] I'm not writing him off yet, not by far. But I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that he's either in the dome or in one of these pods. [After the way he clung to her mental stability these last few weeks, he wouldn't have just... cut off contact and disappeared. Not voluntarily, anyway.
After a pause:] Anyone else?
[action]
[He shakes his head, but he's concerned about it.] Dylan is still here. But there was a young man I met when I arrived. He's gone now. And I've not heard anything from Ba'al. Neither of which I've been able to find here.
[action]
She did have a reason for coming, after all.]
Before the week's over, I'm putting some action behind that plan I ran by you and Hunt.
Just thought I should warn you.
[action]
You want to win. It's admirable.
[In his mind, though, he'd already lost. He'd failed in protecting his allies and left himself vulnerable.
He'd failed his friends and lovers and lost them.]no subject
Shepard eyes him for a minute, inscrutable, then her head tilts just slightly.]
Didn't think you were so easy to break.
[Blunt, but she's never been the sort to beat around the bush.]

My captain will at least be reliable. He'll take foolish risks but they're often productive. I'll do as he commands in regards to your plan.
[He's never been good at talking about anything wrong with him. Like a big oversized cat he'll sit on his pain and weaknesses and do his best not to expose them to anyone. He's been collecting a good number of them for the past month.]
no subject
[And she could leave it there. Honestly, she really probably should. But instead, she's leaning against one of the nearby pods, gaze on the face of the pod across the way.]
Not that anything I've got to say should really matter to you, but it's too soon by far to be giving up on anything, let alone the whole damn fight.
[A glance to Rhade.]
It's more complicated than that. I know. It always is. Doesn't change what I said, though.

[He paces in front of one of the open pods, his hands still tightly wrung behind his back, and very much still behaving like an oversized fussy cat.]
I was one of those that donated blood to help the young man that escaped from the dome. Since the mixture was successful, I'm aware that I might have some future as a bargaining tool, therefore I wouldn't be surprised if I weren't actually returned to a pod in the future.
However, we can't repeat the precise mixture, because Diziet was another of the donors.

[She's not going to comment on his bargaining tool status--she's altogether sick of being one, herself, but it's entirely his choice whether or not that's a status he'd like to retain.]

Personally? No. Diziet was intensely private with her identity. She wouldn't have publicly stated it. Unless she sparked Narvin's curiosity- we were looking into his identity as a possible mole.
