To all of us stranded here - my name is Colonel Telford of the US Air Force. I'd like to help further our attempts to get ourselves organized.

I understand that we have some exploration parties established and out there looking for answers by now. However, I feel like we should have some sort of ground base to bundle our efforts as well. I'd also like to take inventory and know where we stand in terms of provisions, medical supplies and weapons at this point.

I wasn't in the best condition when I came to and I could imagine I won't be the only one - are there any doctors around who could establish an infirmary and tend to the injured? Do we have people with scientific background who could start working on the ship and those pods?

Finally, are there people with combat experience among us who would be willing to establish a watch and securing of the perimeter with me?

I've got plenty of combat experience, though. Even without my powers.

My impression was they were scraping the barrel on supplies and staff. Still, they patched me up for free, no questions asked, so I can't really complain. Structure's pretty sound, same with Edmund's trading post. Word is they've had some trouble with air raids in the past.

[Oh, for the-- Can this day get any worse? Telford stares at the screen for a moment, surprise and anger on his face. And maybe a hint of confusion, because despite having been at the SGC forever, he cannot say he has come across Ba'al in person before.

[She's momentarily confused by the reply, but then realizes where the misunderstanding happened.] Never said you were. That's why I guessed Earth to start with--none of the offworld colonies have much better than a militia and defense turrets.
