[he's lost track of time since his arrival. bar the few, brief conversations he's had on the network during his breaks from standing watch over charles' pod, he hasn't spoken to many people yet. he hasn't seen a need to. not while he's still trying to work out what to do next. he knows that charles would be disappointed in him if he knew how little he'd done so far. that he'd spent all this time mourning the loss of someone that hadn't actually belonged to him for years. or was that just months now? he doesn't know anymore.

but regardless, he's forced himself to leave again. this time, for good. until he knows just how to get charles out of the pod, he knows he can't go back. not to mention that already, there's already another problem he needs to deal with.

If there are any others here who know a man named Erik Lehnsherr (or Magneto) in their home worlds, now is the time to mention it.

[If so, Todd is going to be an unhappy camper. He doesn't like Magneto very much, even if he does kind of want to impress him so he won't be left behind. Again. But the Magneto he knows is kind of scary.]

older guy, kinda big, helmet and cape and stuff. magnetic powers. wants mutants to be awesome and have our own place in things. think hes german maybe but i dont get no deets on the big guy, he dont talk to me much.

[it may seem like bragging, but it's instead a statement, meant to make it clear that he still isn't to be tested. he may not know exactly what the relationship between toad and magneto is like, but there's clearly a reason that they're working together. one he won't find out for himself for a few more years, once he's back home again.]

[There's a pause, as he debates that.] Some kind of toolkit, I think, and a decent computer, since nothing on the ship seems to be functional.

Depending on what tools you need, they can be made for you. However, my only knowledge of computers comes from a brief stay in the early twenty-first century. You may need to expand a little in both regards.
