A gift that sets us apart from humans. And because of that, many of our kind are persecuted. Israel is open to all mutants, regardless of where they originated from, and we do all we can to protect them. But there isn't any kind of acceptance beyond its borders.

[it's why he and his team are so willing to jump to violence. when the cost of saving mutants is the death of those humans holding them captive, it's a price he's all too willing to pay. it's one that wouldn't need to be claimed if humanity had been more accepting toward them.]

It's different in other worlds. I understand that. But that still doesn't give them any right to treat you like that.
