[of all the possible replies he was expecting to hear, that wasn't one of them. the idea that anyone would will away mutant abilities, yet alone his own child, adds to that pit of anger he's been trying to will away from the first moment he woke up here. it grew more difficult after being shown his charles' pod. after learning about his alternate self. after the other charles disappeared. but this? this is a step too far, and it leaves him knowing that he needs to get away for a while.]
