[It's not quite dawn on Saturday; there's a faint bleaching on the edge of the horizon, but everything is still dark and hazy with a sluggish mist of rain.]
The flood's rising. Washing everything away. There won't be anything but bones left when it's through.
We have to stop it. Have to-
[There's a rustle in the background, and an indistinct male voice saying something that might be 'come away'. A low, grinding distortion picks up, as though something's been pressed over the microphone - perhaps by accident - before the feed cuts out entirely.]
