[There's a kind of nervous-looking Toad on the network today. He's obviously flustered by something or another, but knowing him, that could be anything from Outer Authorities to an unplanned encounter with a bar of soap.]

Yo, guys! Where the heck are ya? I've been lookin' everywhere for you guys! Edmund's takin' people outa town, I wanna get goin' and you three'd better come along, a'right?

[Yeah, so this is wide-open to everybody. It's not really all that clear who he's talking to, but probably the people he's actually talking to can guess he means them. Probably. Maybe? He hopes?]

Oh, uh, hey, Wing!

[The kid offers a smile that's definitely not very real.]

Naw, I'm... all right. I'm fine. I ain't sick or nothin', anyway.

You don't sound fine, Tolansky, though I'm glad you're not sick.

Is there anything I can do?

No, I don't--

[Idea.]

Hey wait. Maybe you can. I'm tryin' to find where my friends are holed up, it ain't the hospital. It's somewhere west of that? Think you could take me on a fly-over an' we see if I can find where they're at?

[That'll make it go much faster!]

I'd be glad to.

You're a good person for worrying about your friends, Tolansky. And I enjoy flying with you.

[Todd looks somewhere between confused, flattered, and a little grossed out. He's never been accused of being a "good person" before. Or, in fact, been told someone enjoyed... pretty much anything about him.]

Uh, thanks. Meetcha outside the Flop in a few, then?

[Oops? Get used to it, Tolansky. Wing remembers your leadership on the expedition to find the lost children.]

I'll be right there. You can tell me where to go when we're flying.

Sure thing, bro.

[And he's sitting on the roof of the Flop once Wing gets there, waving at him to catch his attention, even if it's not strictly necessary. He's the only one up there, after all.]

[Wing has no idea what a 'bro' is, but he presumes it's good. He'll file it away for later use.]

[He circles around the building, waggling his ailerons in greeting, and hovering by the roof.]

Where shall we look for them?

[Todd leaps over onto Wing's jet-self back, and pats his shoulder lightly, a kind of wordless thanks for the big robot being generally awesome and nice to him and stuff.]

Someplace west of the hospital, so, I guess, that way?

[He points.]

[Wing honestly has no idea why the others seem to find Tolansky odd. He's never been anything but friendly to Wing.]

All right. Tell me if you see anything.

[He moves off, smoothly.]

So what is Edmund doing? Are you going exploring?

[Clinging easily to Wing's jet-self back, fingers tucked into crevices and toes wedged securely in place, Todd answers-- loudly over the sound of wind and/or engines-- once he's settled.]

We're, uh, going off somewhere where we won't get sick, mostly, I think. I don't know what plans other than that he's got.
