[It's a slightly harried looking Wing who appears on the communicator. He doesn't look injured, just...stressed out, his gold optics dim and tarnished-looking.]

H-has anyone else seen Dr. Liara T'Soni?  I mean recently?  I swore I saw her. But...[He looks around, almost on edge, and the camera moves to show that Wing's in a dead-end corridor. He's chased what he thought was her--and was definitely something--down here.] But, well, you can see. 

If she's here, she

[....and then he goes blank for six or seven long seconds, almost like he's been shut off, but then he starts speaking, continuing the sentence as if nothing had happened.]

I'm fine. [He has no idea there was anything odd about the broadcast.]
I'm worried about Dr T'Soni.

Down by engineering, I think.

Try to backtrack a little to the nearest main junction, so that I can find you. I can come meet you and see if I can pick up her scent. If she was there, I should be able to smell it.

[And he might be able to smell if something is off with the giant robot, as well.]

I'd appreciate it. [He starts moving back down the corridor.] I know I saw her.

[He doesn't sound like he's entirely convinced.]

[Why does everyone keep asking him if he's all right?]

Dr T'Soni was a kind person. I can't understand why she'd run from me. [Because that's totally what you're asking about, right?]

No. But she and I had a long conversation once about our homes. She was kind. I was sad to hear she'd left. But....[but what was that?]

[Though, now that he thinks of it, 'running' wasn't quite accurate.]

[Over where?!] How are you settling in?

I'll head over in a few minutes then! Still trying to get the wind used to me. And I'm settling in alright, I guess.

[On the phone, at least. Though Jack isn't sure how much company he'll be since he can't be seen by the robot. But he figured something was better than nothing.]

Uh, so because you're a robot... are you able to sense heat?

The wind? You can fly, also?

[That's exciting; Wing would love a flight partner.]

I can scan for thermal, yes. Will that work?

The Winter wind carries me at home. The wind here doesn't seem to know what to make of me but I think it likes me.

[Flying is only the best thing ever.]

I'm colder than most, so you can probably see me then. I don't think I ever told you this but I'm the spirit of Winter. With that knowledge and perhaps seeing me via thermal, you'll believe enough to see me.

I wasn't aware that the wind had feelings? [He's not doubting. It's just something he's never even considered.]

Would that work? If I can see you on thermal that's enough to believe? [It's pretty exciting to him, too.] Would that work afterwards, too?

No one can talk to the wind to ask.

I'm hoping it'll work. It doesn't always take much to believe but it's up to you to believe what you're seeing is real. That the spirit of winter is in the same room as you.

Oh. Well. I suppose that makes sense. Though I've seen things here I wouldn't have thought possible.

I'm talking to you and you're telling me things I wouldn't imagine. I think I can believe in you.

Well, then there's only one way to find out! I'll be there in a few minutes!

[After a few moments, he's in the air and flying toward the ship. Once he lands, he heads inside, hesitantly calling out.]

Wing? You there big guy?

[Since the ship was so huge and it was doubtful Wing would hear him right away, he sent out some of his signature frost to flowing through the corridors by way of laying the crook of his staff along the walls.]

Jack? [Wing starts moving back to the entrance of the ship. ]

[He's at least visible. And loud, as he moves toward the draft.]

[Jack feels the ground shake a bit when Wing gets closer. Geez, he didn't realize how big the guy was until he saw him.]

[He'll just be standing there. Staring up at the big robot.]
