She forces herself to let out a breath, then scrubs at her face and combs her fingers through her hair.]

Look, I can't stop you from chasing after prophecies. I get that you need to feel that all of this is leading towards something. I just hope that whatever you end up finding is actually what you were looking for in the first place.

It's that sense of mystery, of the unknown, which draws her in, gripping her more tightly than she's willing to acknowledge. But Starbuck's afraid of it too. Afraid of how easily she would be swallowed up by it.
