So. Is anyone else seriously questioning their new timeline counterpart's judgement?

A lot of people commute to and from Poseidon, but if you do stay here, I also have an extra room. There isn't much of personal affects inside, but it does smell as if you've used it now and then.

[At least, he's pretty sure that's Wes-scent. They haven't exactly interacted in person much, so he hadn't been able to really match it up with anyone.]

WEll, not exactly like it. That tech's unfamiliar to everyone. But a smaller, zippier craft.

...You have military skills then, I'm guessing? [Military types make him a little nervous...with the exception of Captain America. Steve makes him nervous for entirely different reasons.]

[Now Bruce is less nervous, and more intrigued] Really? What kind of ships do you pilot? Anything like the one we woke up in?

Fly? As in... a kind of vessel? I am assuming you do not mean flying as Thor does with his hammer. Do you patrol the forests or act as some sort of flying guardsman for the town?

I mostly fly single seaters. Or act as gunner in a two man craft. Even our carriers aren't nearly as massive as that ship though. The engines are nothing like our hyperdrives either.

You may as well say something nonsensical for all the good that does me. Is it able to transport goods? Or is it small like a... a skiff? Or a rowboat?

I'm sorry, you don't really know me very well, do you? So I suppose I should explain that. I'm a werewolf, if you know what that is.

Werewolf... I think that came up in Mayfield a time or two. THere are stranger species.

A bit like a skiff. They don't go terribly far off the ground, but it's better than nothing.

I had a skiff of my own back in Highever. She was named the Grumpy Wyvern - after an old friend of my father.

Your machine sounds as if it might be rather more complicated than sailing, however.

Do you ever get to travel near the western forest? Or tis only in the quarantine zone?

Indeed, I've met a few of them since my arrival here. I do want to assure you, however, that I am entirely safe every night but the full moon, and that night I will be under lock and key.

I'm not sure the exact details just yet, just that I'm supposed to fly patrols. Beats selling land vehicles at any rate.

If you ever find your way up to the forest between the two cities, watch for a home in the woods?
