So this is probably kind of dumb, since I barely use it anymore, but my image inducer broke... back in one of the other timelines. Not important. It's a pretty weird piece of technology und I totally have no idea how it works, but I know there are techy people here. Sometimes from the future in space. I know back home the professor can usually fix it, but once in a while he sent it back to... whoever made it for him? I don't get all the secrets. I just get a hologram that can sometimes keep me from looking like Satan started a line of plushies.

I totally look like the stories there are from my world, though, und that's what people think of. Pointy ears, pointy tail, fangs, glowy eyes. I even smell like sulfur when I port.

Pointy ears usually belong to elves in my world. Pointy tails to dragons. Fangs - well. All manner of things. Canines and other wildlife have eyes that glow in the night when the light strikes them just right.

And... isn't telling me you get gassy when drinking port a bit much?

Probably not, but it's a handy thing to have. And if we find a way home, I wouldn't want to not have it.

...It's a side effect of my powers. Port is short for teleport. The smoke smell doesn't come out of my fur very easy.

Thanks. I think I'm good. I'd make Todd do it, since he stole it one time at home und made it work better than I ever did, but that hasn't happened yet for him. Divergent timelines suck.

Was I supposed to do that? Because I definitely gave him a rundown of every sucky thing that happened between when he's from and when I'm from. Maybe if he gets back some of it will suck less. Worst thing that's happened so far is he and Pietro giving me funny looks for knowing stuff.

I uh, I think it depends on whether he'd be involved in anything major, like starting a war or losing his best friend. Though did he ask you to tell him all of it, or where you just feeling the need to share the misfortune with someone?

Are you sure that's how it'll work when we leave here? I'm assuming the pods have to be involved, since that's where we woke up, and we don't remember being kidnapped. What if we go back and can't remember this place?

No idea. I'm just giving it a shot. How lame would it be if I didn't and we missed the chance?

I guess there's no harm in it if it better prepares people for a war. I just hope your future doesn't change too much. We can see what our influence in the past changed here.
