Rice mostly. And we raised chickens. You know, things we needed to survive.

There wasn't much trade. It was mostly about supporting ourselves. Besides, my father was injured during his time in the army, and I...well I helped out as best I could. But traditionally, such work is done by boys. And my father had no sons.
