[The video flickers to life after a moment, and a face will appear. She seems composed, but she's dressed plainly and her hair is down, if anyone knew her, they'd be surprised...for a number of reasons. She is fingering what appears to be a wooden trinket in her hands as she sits. Still inside the ship for the moment at least.

Her voice is composed, barely and there is a hint of steel behind her words. Okay more then a hint.]

Where are my children?

Whoever is in charge of this kidnapping, you did a poor job restraining me. I am willing to talk, but only if you tell me what has happened to my children.

....Palpatine, if you are behind this. Then I remind you that I am still a Senator, and unless you have destroyed them already I still have rights. You cannot detain me like this without informing the government of Naboo. I have done nothing wrong.

[Bones' expression is one of suspicion and concern, the backdrop behind him one that's got the sort of medical tinge that says 'hospital' even if the exact medical technology that can be glimpsed isn't familiar.]

As the others have been explaining, you're not kidnapped unless you're going to count us all as victims. If you've just arrived from an abduction, though, it's my job to be nosy and ask if you need medical attention before you do some damned fool thing like tough it out until you fall over. The name's Doctor McCoy, and I'm down at the hospital here if you need help.

[There is a pause before she replies. She hadn't brought it up to any of the others, but a doctors opinion might be worth something.]

I'm not from an abduction.

But I would like a medical opinion.

...Because I just gave gave birth before arriving here. And I was ....injured before going into labour. I thought I was dying. But I feel nothing like that here.

[At the thought she touches her throat. No the memories of the phantom hand wrapped around it are the only affects she has left.]

Good God. Well, that settles it. Come in for a full physical as soon as you can -- you'll find the local authorities after you get off the ship, so you tell them Dr McCoy wants you brought to the Poseidon hospital and they'll drive you here.

[The suspicion has given way to brisk medical orders, not without a tinge of compassion despite the brusque interjection he started on.]

I can tell you that the pods have probably healed any physical damage done to you -- they aren't just stasis tubes, they're a lot more than that -- but I'd still be happier if I could confirm that, and you've probably got a few questions of your own.

Just that we're a few kilometres out from an energy barrier protecting the populated parts of this planet from an area called the Plague Lands. The capital letters should convey the seriousness, there. The Outer Authorities patrol the barrier and also keep an eye out for signs of infection. Don't come off like you're planning trouble and you should find them pretty willing to offer assistance.
