[The setting in behind Kaylee is fairly recognizable as the area right outside the ship. Which isn't surprising, as the smudge of grease on her face suggests she's very recently been pretty deep in a generator or engine.]

Alright, I ain't the only one who's been feelin' right discombobulated when they go on or off the ship the past coupla weeks, am I? Thought I might be comin' down with somethin' at first, but that's the only time I get all dizzy like. Wouldn't be the weirdest thing the ship's ever done I guess...

When Kakarot and I arrived on the ship, I almost lost my footing completely and smacked my head on something. So whatever it is, it's definitely on the ship. I haven't had a problem since.

Was that the only time you've been on the ship?

Yes, I haven't been back yet to explore. [He plans to.] But since you claim to have problems when on board, I assume the problem lies there and not with us. And the last time I checked there wasn't anything wrong with me to induce such symptoms.

Woudln't be the strangest thing the ship's ever done neither.

[Though at this point she has accepted she should probably at least see a doctor to completely rule out the other possibilities.]

Things that look like they're there until ya try to really see 'em. Things disappearin'. And right weird things happenin' with time.

The ship has induced hallucinations before? [Okay he's never heard of that happening on a ship before, and he's been on a lot of them.] How is that even possible?

[Doing strange stuff with time though? That's normal. His own wife built a time machine after all...]

Might be halluncinations, might be somethin' else. Can't really rule anythin' out.

And how exactly do you know that? Besides, you haven't seen what a ship like that is capable of. The last one I encountered sucked the very life force out of the planet. How do you know that's not what this is doing?

Well there ain't any other interdimensional spaceship handy. She brought us here and she's the best chance of anyone ever gettin' back.

[He scoffs at her, but takes that tidbit of info regardless.]

Have it your way. I'll just have to check it out myself then. [Not like anyone else hasn't done that already, right?] But believe me when I say at the first sign of trouble, that ship is getting blown sky high. [He's not dealing with another Big Gete Star, no way.]

Perhaps you should try it sometime. I've found that it works wonders for taking care of any pesky problems that might arise. [That's his philosophy and he's sticking to it.]

I'll determine if this ship is safe or not. The last thing we need is it sucking the very life energy out of your 'mechanical people' as well.

[Kaylee shoots him a look whose full impact can only truly be appreciated by someone who knows her usual demeanor]

When you've become victim to having some disgusting machine hook itself into your vitals and use you as a battery, then perhaps I'll consider anything you've got to say on the matter. Do not question me. If you knew what you were doing, that ship would be far more functional than it is. How long exactly has it been since you've been working on it, huh? What exactly do you know about that blasted thing?

[His feeble attempts to control his temper are not working so well. It's evident by the vein popping out of his forehead. Sorry, Kaylee.]

Months now! We're the ones that got the pods stabilized so everyone who ain't woken up yet didn't just die on board, you're welcome! We're the ones that've worked out enough 'bout the engines to get the power comin' back online way past where we started. So who do ya think you are just waltzin' in here actin' like ya know so much better than we do? Ya don't know the first thing about Salvation!

[He is very...talented at making anyone mad. His face though, is nothing but stone. Man, she's as good at yelling at him as Bulma is.]

Mark my words, woman. None of that will matter if that ship turns on you one day. I'm going inside that ship and finding out, and if I don't, I'll continue to do so until I find out exactly what we're dealing with. Isn't it a bit absurd it has the ability to hold us captive when we don't even understand how we got there or why we're here? I don't know about you, but I don't know if I'm alright with some machine having the ability to do that! So I'll go ahead and educate myself on this 'Salvation' of yours.

It's not holdin' us captive. It picked us up by accident when reality went all wonky. Which ya would know if ya bothered learning more about the situation before decidin' ya knew best about everythin'!

Are ya even a spaceship mechanic? 'Cause I'm a gorram good one and I know what I'm doin' with her!

Tell me, have you ever worked on a Saiyan spacepod? I'm sure you wouldn't even understand how one works, considering they don't have engines like you humans are accustomed to. [And he hasn't used the word human in a derogatory manner in a long, long time.] Maybe you are talented by whatever standards you go by where you come from, but that means nothing to me.

[Honestly, he's only had to fix his own ship when he was out on missions and the spaceship he used from Capsule Corporation, so a lot of this is just his arrogance speaking. He's not inexperienced but his realm of understanding is with those sorts of ships, and maybe a few others.]

I ain't worked on that specifically but I've worked on plenty of ships from different planets and all sorts of different dimensions. They don't all run the same, but I ain't ever met one I couldn't figure out and Salvation ain't gonna be the first.

And ya still ain't said what makes you so much more qualified than our entire gorram interdimensional tech team!

All I'm trying to say is that I don't think you idiots even know what you're dealing with! [HE SWEARS HE EXPLAINED HIMSELF TO HER. EARTHLING WOMEN, ASFJL;ASLKFJASL;DFJK'ASFASDFKLJASDFL;ASDKL;FASKLDFJKL;]
