I don't think I can help you with the first part but, uh, can I ask what you mean by the second? Was someone implying you two were getting married because they thought you were pregnant?

Though I imagine the Church of England would be a bit put out, I am familiar with a marriage ceremony, and I am a government official back in London. I believe I have the qualifications, unless you wanted a religious ceremony.

I'll understand if you'd rather someone a bit more impressive, however.
