[Video] Backdated: Saturday late morning

[The background of this video shows forest somewhere, and the bits of which that are viewable show some damage to the tree branches and a little scorching to a couple bushes.

The foreground shows a very frustrated and impatient-looking Mr. Gold.]

I require transportation. And I require it quickly. I can, of course, pay handsomely.

[Because somebody's ability to teleport seems to have been curtailed rather sharply, because his mun is mean to him.]

Not precisely. I am merely in need of something that can go much further than I can, and I am in need of it in short order.

[Before he loses his patience and blows up a tree entirely, or something. It's a small measure of respect for her own magic that he's not being completely rude right now. Just impatient.]

Do you have anything to offer, dearie?

Possibly. I need to know how far outside of Poseidon you are and where you intend on traveling.

Fairly far. There are some ruins a week's travel from here.

[He lists a fairly exact mileage that the mun does not have access to, heh.]

[ Travel by foot or horse? ]

I believe that would be too far for myself to make it in one trip, especially considering that I do not know that area well enough travel blind.

[ Why hasn't she set up a series of portkeys to get her around? ]

May I ask how it is that you became stranded?

[By car. Which probably amounts to horse, given the terrain.]

I'm not, actually. I'm not far from Poseidon. The ruins are where I need to get to, and apparently I am unable to do so on my own. Thus, the request for help.

[Which he hates doing, by the way.]

I have never been to the Ruins and there are dangers in apparating in blind.

[ One of them could become splinched. While there are people who might not mind seeing that happen to Gold, Helga is not one of them. ]

Apparating. And this is some kind of flight, or vanishing transport?

[Because the word is unfamiliar, but it could mean either of those things. Most likely vanishing transport, given the more likely presence of danger there.]

Then you may find yourself equally... limited. Given that I've already tried that, and found myself hardly further than where I'd started.

Do you normally have a limit on your range?

Not one like this, certainly.

I do appear to have solved my little problem for now. Perhaps I'll experiment once I've returned, but for now, I'm afraid I must be off.

[Because Jack is on his way, and Belle is waiting somewhere to get rescued and/or avenged, or so he imagines.]
