I'd like to know if we've learned anything else about why it happened. And I want to throw my efforts back into the plans to organize. Commander Shepard, Colonel Telford, I know you've been attempting this. Any progress? Any use for a man with leadership and combat experience? I'm not trying to pick a fight. All I'm saying is that you're assuming a lot when you assume that any given civilization is going to be as advanced as yours. You don't know what this universe holds--from what I've seen, it's not necessarily any more advanced than mine, and in some ways is less so.
