[A few weeks ago, Kerra had just felt like she needed a break, to get away from all of it. And maybe see if Wanda's idea about the pods was true, so, she'd just gone back, and now she was just waking up.

A cursory scan of the network reveals nothing, but she knows that's not true. Something feels off, here.]

Guh...so...okay. Hey. It's Kerra, and I'm back.

[She looks tired, kinda grouchy, and thankfully clothed.]

Anyone mind catching me up to speed on what's going on? Took a little time in the pods. Needed to clear my head, and it feels like I've been gone a while.

Hit me, either here, or I guess at home. Maybe the bar.

Yeah. Sure. We'll go with that. I wasn't well, but I wasn't dying. Call that for kicks.

[She's not going to talk about some of this stuff. A conversation or two had gone badly, and...well...it had left her feeling pretty krifftastic.]

I just...couldn't deal. Felt sick all the time, figured I'd feel better after.

You people do get that maybe one in every twenty people who goes back into those things actually ever comes out again, right? Not accounting for the thousands who've never actually woken up in the first place.

[Don't mind him, he's just dealing with the fact that the last person who was deliberately put back into the pods might possibly have been handed a death sentence.

[Kerra sighs heavily and tries to keep a snarl out of her voice.]

Stark. I do. And you know what? At the time I didn't kriffing care. I came out. I feel moderately less frakked up, but you know what? You're starting to give me one of those headaches that just won't go away, so can we just...not talk about this? It's good to know you're concerned about me, but I don't really wanna talk on any network about depression, kay?

[Audio]

...Moving on.

If your little adventure in Wonderland knocked your powers out, it wasn't us. Salvation woke up cranky.

I feel alright. But I'm not on the ship anymore. That...was kinda weird and I'm not really happy being force-blinded.

Was it just another malfunction?

[Audio]

It wasn't a critical system failure. We're still digging through the security system to figure out if it's something that switched on automatically now that the power reservoirs can sustain it.

Certainly an effective means to keep people out. Does it affect tech too?

[Audio]

I wouldn't be in here if it did.

[He pauses, considering.]

It might shut down weaponry above a certain payload, but until we can get into the system, or someone decides to have a running battle in the halls, we won't know for sure.

Right, so lightsabers are potentially unreliable, check.

Won't be making any last stands here, then. Y'know, if stuff gets messy.

I don't know about you, but making a last stand in a place where the enemy can be stuffed in a box and kept there until the heat death of the universe sounds pretty good to me.

I'd rather be someplace I can sense incoming attacks. Lightsabers don't work as well without the Force.
