It's fine, there's not really a lot more we can get from the previous subject. The satellite... well, I wouldn't be the best one to ask, but it de-orbited and crashed in the forest near here roughly a couple months ago.
It was still broadcasting a signal that was interfering with local communication and was alarming the local wildlife, so a team went out to deactivate it and retrieve it. I know it was brought back to town, and that it was apparently part of the planet's orbital defense grid, but I don't think a lot more has been done with it -- the skilled technical complement of the ship is small, and they've had other projects.
