[Indrani's wearing one of Pietro's robes, which looks like a normal enough item of clothing to her Wastelander eyes. The one she's picked is a bit big for her, and her communicator's clearly propped on something and pointed at her while she makes sure it'll stay on.]

So this is pretty cool. Good job, uh, clothes guy.

[She's heard enough complaints about being stuck naked that she's sympathetic, even if it's her first time through the wringer.]

Did I miss anything fun? Also, did we win? And did someone maybe get my guns? I like my guns.

[He gives a little shudder. It was creepy, is what it was. Rather than admitting that, though, he instead says:]

[Ick. She manages not to shiver, but then, she's picked vicera out of her hair on a fairly regular basis.]

My guns and my clothes, though? Damn. I like my guns. And that was my old Vault suit.

[He winces at the memory, himself. He hadn't even really thought about the sentimental value of that stuff, just that it'd proved it was Indrani. That'd been more than enough, at the time, to deal with.]

Maybe the guns'll be okay, though. Once, I dunno. You get 'em out of all those spikes.

[She might be able to fix the guns. They were already a mess of cannibalized parts and difficult repairs, after all. She doesn't want him to feel bad.]

I'll have to see if your roommate's sewing prowess can make me up something like it. Might even write 101 on the back for old time's sake.

[That distracts him a little from contemplation of that particular horror, and he snorts.]

Maybe if you paid him. He don't do stuff for free, especially not for my friends.

[Since, y'know. He usually doesn't have any, and he did see that exchange between them on the very post that brought him here.]

But that's so boring. I don't think I could manage that much sewing myself, though, or not from scratch. I fix clothes, but usually in a kinda lumpy way.

[She's never been very concerned with appearances.]

Hey, I'm actually, uh, not too terrible. I mean, I made my own Brotherhood uniform.

[Which doesn't look nearly as good as, say, Pietro's, or more so, as Kurt's. But it's not lumpy at all. And the taste is a bit questionable.]

If you can't get Pietro to do it for somethin'.

Better than me. I just alter stuff I already have, so if you wanna volunteer, I'll give you some extra shooting lessons or something.

[They may be friends, but it sounds like a pain in the butt of a job to her. It's only fair.]

Cus, y'know, at home, you either have to make everything or find undecayed prewar stuff. Or just gank it like I usually do.

[He's usually amused by stories from home, as long as she edits out the gore.]

[Yet another reason Todd likes to think they're pretty alike: he might not have to deal with hunting down prewar stuff, but he did make a lot of his things growing up, or stole it. So hey, they have that in common!]

That where you got most of the stuff you brought here? Or's that all prewar stuff?

Yeah, pretty much all of it. My good suit and my hat are old world scrounge, and at least parts of the guns are. And I collected it all the time back home. Toys and books mostly.

[Her magpie streak hasn't manifested the same way in Verdana, largely because it's not full of ruins she can take all she wants from.]
