[She looks over at Chell, then gives her an encouraging look to introduce herself.]

[She feels a little put on the spot, but she says,]

I had the stew.

[Meaning she and Daniel had already met, though it had been even before that, back on the ship.]

It's just thunder.

It's safe. [Alert the media, it sounds like Shepard's grinning. This is the first time she's ever seen the rain...]

[Was it a joke, or said in seriousness? With her it's always hard to tell.]

[He smiles fondly and brushes a bit of wet hair out of her eyes.]

[She hesitates, then squares her shoulders and speaks.]

I don't remember the last time I was out in rain. So I wanted to be sure.

I've never been struck by lightning before.

It shouldn't matter.

[Kara notices said action and her smile deepens into a sly grin.]

She was just showing me the proper jumping technique. Have yet to see you in action, though.

Yeah, it's probably not very likely. It would hit the building tops first, I think.

[She glances around.]

I want to jump off someplace high. It'll make a bigger splash.

[She moves out into the rain, letting it fall on her and seeming to forget she was talking to anyone. But after a minute she looks back down at the screen.]

It's safe.

[So Chell's not alone on that one.]

[Though he doesn't show it, he's grateful. It's good to know that the weather of this planet is not hostile, at least at this moment.]

Good to know this planet's weather doesn't seem toxic.
