This is gonna sound completely kuangzhe de, but... it's been years.

They have dogs around here, sure, and some of 'em are pretty mean, the local wildlife being as charming as it is.

[They won't, of course, be mildly irradiated angry fluff-monsters, but she doesn't mind having the only one of those.]

And I'd never heard of it neither, before we all woke up here and stuff. But you gotta come to Poseidon for the drink, and, uh, I doubt the cop-types would like you tryin' to take guns. Didn't you come with any?

[Everybody he knows who cares about guns has come with them. Well, except him, but he makes do with what Indrani shares.]

[Considering the epithets Zevran's had flung at him before, an implied weird is pretty mild.]

Ah. Well, I assure you that I prefer my partners to enjoy their experience, and while I do enjoy fine leather I do not think human flesh is best suited to it, no?

[As for the killing people part of it, Zevran prefers the artistry of a clean and well-remunerated kill... but doesn't feel inclined to chat about this on an open network.]

Regardless, you need not fear these Reavers if you leave the great ship. The town awaits you, ser, with plentiful bars and companionship that's delightfully free of diseases.

Gonna need a drink. And I gotta pistol. 'm I gonna need it gettin' to a bar? There that much trouble here?

[ He wanted more of them, honestly. ]

Didn't think you was a Reaver anyway. They ain't the speakin' type. Ain't no human part that makes any good armor anyhow.

[ Jayne just likes shooting people. Plain and simple. ]

That's where it gets weird. Salvation grabs folk across time too. There's folk here from Luke's world who're from hundreds of years before him. And about ten years ahead.

[She flashes him a reassuring smile]

'Course that means once we get her workin', we can get everyone back to right when they got took from.

[Assuming whatever caused Salvation to grab them in the first lace wasn't still a problem, anyway.]

[ The smile isn't that reassuring. ]

[Zevran trails off, giving the man a considering look with his lips pursed wnd two fingers lightly touching them.] I would recommend the taverns near the Poseidon docks. Even with the curfew in place, they remain an excellent location for a bar fight.

Doubt it. I mean, the road from the Old City to Poseidon's pretty big and got people on it most of the time. None of the big stuff goes anywhere near it, yo. Too likely the soldiers going home'd blow it up, or somethin'.

Go too far in that direction and he'll be breaking teeth trying to kill power armor and robots for you.

[She gives Dogmeat a vigorous ear rub, during which his tongue lolls out lazily. He doesn't look very scary at the moment.]
