[Pietro's looking a bit more clean-cut than he has been lately (he's been letting his hair grow out a little these past few months). He also appears confused, bordering on annoyed. The background is clearly a section of Poseidon, from high up. He appears to be on a tall building.]

Quicksilver here. Wherever here is. It's sure as hell not HQ, and I'm definitely not wearing my clothes. [Yes, he is. He made them himself, even.] And this isn't my communicator. What gives? Scarlet Witch? Cap? Anybody copy? [He looks away, grumbling the last part just loudly enough for the mic to pick up.] Fuck, I'd take Clint if he could tell me what the hell's going on.

[Pietro didn't have much of a life outside of the superhero stuff. It lead to some skewed perspectives.]

I can take care of myself just fine, but until I have more information, I've got no frigging clue what kind of danger I'm in. If any. For all I know, these jokers are telling the truth about knowing me - or at least someone very much like me.

And fast is putting it mildly.

I would like to think no one would mean you harm here, but I haven't been back long enough to judge. I know no one means me harm, but I'm largely harmless myself.

There's too many people who'd love to mess me and my team up for me to make that assumption. But if this isn't some plot to capture us or find out our secrets or something... damned if I know what actually is going on.

If it can be any comfort, I don't think you are where you were before, where your enemies would be. Unless some of them came here as well. Here on Verdana, the biggest enemy is the planet itself.

[Nobody's explained that part yet. It's not that he doesn't believe it's possible - he hangs out with an Asgardian, after all - but it's still a bit of a shock.]

Yes, this is not Earth. That's what I was told, and at night, the stars are very different from what I remember. We're in the far, far future as well, though no one knows how far, I don't think. [And he wouldn't be surprised to be wrong about that. He just doesn't remember hearing anyone say.]

Time is difficult, because it moves around so much here.

The people who think they know me seem to think I'm playing an elaborate prank. It's all very frustrating.

[He's staying remarkably calm about all this, though. It's amazing what a stable family life and positive role models can do for a guy.]

Uh, if you go outside and run around, don't go where it sparkles. I think there are invisible walls there, but I wouldn't even go near them if I were you. There's radiation, and it can make people very sick.

If you just listen to them a little, those other people, eventually you'll get sorted out.

Yeeeah, I'll do that, thanks. I don't think I'd make a very good Hulk. [Yes, he knows regular radiation doesn't do that, but still. Not something he's inclined to mess with.]

I'm not so sure about that. They seem to have gotten some pretty messed up information about me at some point.

Well, perhaps not about you so much. You must straighten them out there. But they would know more about Verdana. Probably more than me. I've been asleep for more than a year.
