[ Early afternoon on Thursday, particularly psychically susceptible people might suddenly feel an agonizing, splitting pain down the center of their skull. Psychic overload, if any of them have experienced it before, drowning in a stream of information too much for one person to handle.

[Oh god, she's definitely been there. She's silent for a minute, then:]

It's an obvious one, and besides, that would imply that she gives a shit, which she refuses to do until she knows she won't have to eventually take him down. A brief mind-touch, if it can be called that, is a general impression of a person. It can be extremely useful if I want to find them later -- though, of course, certain emotions and feelings can distort it. But generally, I can determine location, and communicate with them from great distances. Not to mention it tends to be a very accurate first impression.

/So we may assume that those in the dome know more about the technology than we do.

[ A hesitation, and then a communication comes in without words. It's the tight anger that he feels every time someone hates him for being a telepath. For being what he is. It's a tiny, microscopic hint of the sensation that comes from being able to feel the minds around him, which brings both pain and incredible joy. I mean it may do more damage to my cause than good. Not many people can harm a telepath.

To have those in the dome stop killing us.

And, to that end, it helps if those here will listen to me, instead of dismissing me as a telepath, and therefore slightly more awful than a basket full of poisonous snakes.
