[One could be hard pressed to realize just what Padmé was thinking, although the signs are there. One's wedding day was supposed to be one of joy, even given the situation she and Anakin were in, and yet, she has no recollection of anything after their kiss. Waking up, her mind had turned over a variety of thoughts, from who and why and where. Yet, despite everything, her person was not harmed.

It is not the first time when life has tossed an obstacle in her path, and yet, she would have to admit that so far, this experience has been a first over all.]

I fear neither the ship or the location are familiar to me as I know this is not one of the worlds I have visited. And so, I ask where I might find information about this planet, and perhaps to whom I should be addressing my disappointment as to the course of action that has been taken.

[The last time Luke got too excited about seeing his mother here she ended up not being his mother, and, even worse, she was Thor's girlfriend. That was awkward. At least this time he knows for sure who she is before contacting her and he can barely contain his emotions. He hasn't seen his mother in over a year. So much has happened.

[He realizes that he should also be careful about telling her too much right away, in case this is isn't the incarnation that has met him before. It wouldn't be the first time.]

[He'd talked to Padmé - an entirely different Padmé - all of once, so his initial double-take is entirely related to the fact that she is definitely (still) not Dr. Jane Foster.

Which isn't really something anyone needs to get into just now, so he opts to just answer her questions.]

[Mulan, of course, is struck by the resemblance to the woman she knew as Jane Foster. Still, since she has introduced herself under another name...well perhaps this is just another of those unlikely coincidences.]
