[Video] | Wednesday morning early
[The face that shows up on the communicators this morning, bright and early, is a familiar one that's been absent for the past week and a half. He's broadcasting from his living room, rather than out and about, and he looks a bit uncomfortable and embarrassed, but also oddly relieved. It is nice to be one's self again.]
Ah. Well. I appear to be my proper age and temperament again. Many apologies to everyone who had to deal with me at that age.
[He was not as polite as he'd be, now, that's for sure! What a nosy little boy he'd been... sheesh.]
Is everyone else who... changed, back to normal, as well?
[Because he definitely remembers Pepper being a bit odd in the same way he was, and Wes, and he's sure there'd been something wrong with Pietro on that network post he read through during the small hours of the morning-- after he'd woken up to the severely uncomfortable sensation of sleeping in child-sized clothing. At night, of all things.]

[Lyall has been out of the loop since he was bitty, and there hasn't been terribly much on the network about it... just that he'd frightened Kaylee.]
Did he do something worse than declare himself not married to his wife, then?

[Because it seems like there's a story here, one he missed in its entirety.]

[Not that he's particularly worried, really. It's really more funny than anything else, at this point.]
I'm a bit amazed you all could understand me, to be honest. I recall sounding terribly Welsh.

[He gives the pup a wry sort of smile.]

You don't sound like that at all anymore. [Granted he has no idea how old Lyall really is.]

[The only reason his Alpha gets away with it even a little, sounding as Scottish as he does, is his rank both within and without the pack.]
no subject
I suppose the London pack would only respect those who sounded English. [He sighs, having a little experience with English insularity while being foreign.]

[Not that his Gamma really means it, after all this time. It's just habit. He shakes his head with a little smile, perhaps just a little bit homesick at the thought of the irritating but loyal fellow.]
Ah, well. I wonder what they'd think of me now. I'm hardly as proper as I ought to be, these days.
no subject
You're very proper by Verdana standards, though. [Yes, he's a little amused that Lyall considers himself not proper.]
no subject
[He smiles, though. He's used to the more lax levels of propriety around here, and is sort of growing to find them refreshing, after a fashion. Not enough to go without a cravat unless he's shifted forms recently, but still.]
Different cultures have different standards. Even most everyone from the ship is from a very different culture than I.

It is hard to feel so left behind sometimes. Also, computer screens give me headaches.
no subject
[Lyall used to have that problem. He's learned to adapt, at least, though he doesn't use computers much.]
You are right about the French, though, in part. We do have a most famous young French woman who sells hats and fantastical inventions in London, a good friend of the pack's, or she was before the vampires had to take her in. She provides a find counter-point to our protestations of superiority.
[His perceptions of such things have been expanded a bit over the course of the past year here... he can laugh a little at his people. Just a little, mind.]

The Englishmen I knew were always very interested in anyone who could make something pretty. The ladies, too, though oddly not as much. I don't understand that one entirely. [He did have a unique set of people to consider, most of the being the fops of the League.]

audio;
[That he helped Armand watch, really, but he doesn't want to talk about that any more than he wants to mention that he's changed back to normal himself.]

Probably not as familiar as you'd expect, either, given the lack of any werewolf aspects. It seems I was not merely changed physically and mentally, but in all aspects-- I was quite human at that time in my life, so I was then, as well.
[He sighs lightly.]
Also, the compliment of my apartment seems to have expanded exponentially while I was not myself.
