[Molly's been keeping to herself/her little circle of mutants as much as possible for the past week. She really didn't enjoy having to talk to that person from the sheriff's office. Not that the person had likely enjoyed the experience any more than she had.

But at least it seemed like it was over.]

But she didn't think anything through. Didn't know her limits. Or to bring backup.

I don't know if I would have been any smarter in her place. You have a good heart, no matter what you call yourself. [He really does have only experience with Molly's other self, brief at that, but these worries, he feels, would only come from a good child. Plus, she's a child! He seldom thinks ill of them.]

That's only part of it though. It's not just about helping people, it's about not creating a bigger problem too. I shouldn't have gone alone. Especially when I know I can only last so long.

Learn a lesson I already knew. That other one... things must have been difference. It must have been possible to stay out of things.

They don't really expect me to go to school here.

Most kids my age are apprenticed somewhere. So I help build things.

Are you learning anything helping build things?

There's a lot to learn from building. They don't just use me to knock things over.

I tried to learn a little carpentry when I was here before. It's very interesting isn't it?

It is. It sure beats sitting around a classroom!

Some classrooms can be fairly interesting, if you like the subject, but I do know what you mean. Are you learning some of the more technical aspects of building?

I'm simply curious. I envy people who do certain kinds of physical work.
