[Molly's been keeping to herself/her little circle of mutants as much as possible for the past week. She really didn't enjoy having to talk to that person from the sheriff's office. Not that the person had likely enjoyed the experience any more than she had.

But at least it seemed like it was over.]

See, far's I can tell, a few big, bad things just happened, though I guess yours was kinda worse than most everybody's. 'Cept maybe Pietro's.

[Since he still isn't back from the ship-regen yet. Todd might be a little worried about him, and though he hasn't said anything, it's probably not that hard to guess. Todd is not subtle about things he feels.]

[She clicks the feed over to private. She suspects some of the grownups wouldn't like this idea]

I have an idea for avoiding it, next time.

Well, "keep" dying. You've only done it, what, twice? So you run out of time for the strength thing.

[This comes as a surprise to the Toad. He thought all the X-Men types, with their superior training or whatever, would have a better handle on what they could do that, say, somebody like him. And he actually has a pretty good handle on what he can do.]

So what. You wanna time yerself?

Yeah. I don't know why I never thought to do it at home.

[So about that X-Men types... The Runaways have always just relied on using her to finish things.]

Me, neither, yo. But if you wanna do this, hey, I'll help out. Helpin' with the dying thing's always good, right?

[There's a pause, as he realizes he's not sure how to go about it, so he up and asks:]

There's not really a place to practice actual fighting.

[Not the way she does, anyway]

But... a lot of lifting should wear me out kinda the same.

So we find ya a bunch of heavy things to lift. And... what. Time you?

[This sounds like something he can do. It also sounds like a pretty good plan, as far as he's concerned. Coming up with bright plans is not Todd's strong point.]

Exactly. ANd then next time there's fighting, I'll know when I have to back out.
