[Molly's been keeping to herself/her little circle of mutants as much as possible for the past week. She really didn't enjoy having to talk to that person from the sheriff's office. Not that the person had likely enjoyed the experience any more than she had.

But at least it seemed like it was over.]

Can we all just stop talking about it now?

Not so. But being too young to have to fight battles is never enough reason to stop anybody.

Figured that one out real fast. No matter how much people said we should have stayed out of it, once it was all over.

It's always easier for those that have not seen a battle, or had to fight a war, to theorize about what should be done differently from the sidelines. There is no place in combat for politics, or philosophy. There's only the hard truth of living.

I wasn't as young as you when I became a soldier, but I was young enough. I wanted to save my father's life. I wouldn't take back that decision now...but still, it changed me.
