[OPEN] Video: Coming back to Poseidon

[He seems distracted. He's outside the ship, walking. Location isn't obvious other than outdoors.]

I'm going to go back to Poseidon, I think. First, I think I need to talk to Leah. Not sure if I should do that now or later.

But, when I get there, I will need somewhere to stay. Living in the ship is only going to get me gray hair and indigestion. Even if it makes a little more sense to me than living without the Railways. I remember David and Manabu and [he grimaces sliightly then looks up at the sky, maybe a bit sad] even Bruce, before we lost him, naggng me to take a vacation. This isn't what I wanted, but I guess it is a break from Big One.

I want to apologize to people here. I've probably been confused, confusing and maybe not friendly. Which makes this hard.

I really do need somewhere to stay. I don't know if I'll have a job yet, though Wes seemed to think that piloting skills were needed. I hope he's right. Honestly, the way things were when I left, I'm not sure I'd have had a job back home either. I suppose it would have been up to Layla and Todo. Damn that bastard Ivanov anyway.

I don't know how to do humble, it seems. I won't get there for a bit, so I guess there's time.

[The face that shows up on the video screen in response is similar enough not to mistake him for anyone else, but there's an obvious sense of agelessness to it, now-- not quite youth, but a definite freedom of the ravages of time. Still, it's definitely the man he met on the ship.]

Mister Bulge, welcome back to the world outside the ship.

Perhaps you should invest in a hat.

[Also, that is probably teasing, even if it may be good advice.]

Regardless, you're quite welcome. Are you already on the road to Poseidon, then?

[It's hard to tell from the background of a video post like this.]

It's quite all right, I understand. Once you've gotten yourself a job, I imagine you'll be able to purchase yourself more clothing. I believe there is some free clothing on board the ship, as well, but I admit most of it might not be your, ah, style.

That said, I'm not certain that hat will actually keep much sun off of you.

Good idea. There are plenty of shops and tailors in Poseidon to choose from, regardless. Do you have directions to the most important locations? I'd suggest heading to Callahan's first, if not, someone there will likely be able to send you in the right direction.

Not by that name, no, but if you speak to Edmund, he is perfectly happy to barter goods, and he has the best stock in the city.

... you know, I have no idea if Edmund if his first name or his last name, come to think of it.

[He ought to remedy that.]

He has a warehouse with a sort of storefront attached.

[Lyall lists the address and some basic instructions for how to get there.]

He's always one to have work to do for trade, too, in case you can't find anything more legitimate.

It's the least I can do. We've all been in your position here, sir, and one can't help but be at least a little sympathetic.

Whyever not?

[He tilts his head slightly at the video feed.]

Just for spending so long on the ship?

Ah, well, I'm sure they will be forgiving once you apologize. If it makes you feel better, however, I imagine it won't take you long to find someone to give you orders and a duty, again.
