[Video] Tuesday: Week 71

[Hi network, remember this guy? Well he’s back. Again. He’s a combination of embarrassed and nervous about the whole situation, but what else is new? He has some lingering bruises from being trapped by rubble, but is otherwise all right.]

Well this is a little bit awkward. Third time’s a charm, I guess? Though this time wasn't exactly like the others...I haven’t been in a pod. [He pauses for a minute, fiddling with his hands out of habit.]

I don’t know how many of you I know are still here, but I hope I can be of some use to you all, regardless. Particularly if you haven’t gotten the ship up and running yet; I remember that being an issue. And if there’s any chance I can still help out at the hospital, I wouldn’t mind multitasking.

...Thanks, by the way, to those of you who helped me get out of the ship. I appreciate it.

Anyone warned ya 'bout time runnin' different on the ship and off yet?

Got her AI workin' a while back. Usually she'll talk to ya anywhere on the ship but with all the mess AI core or the gardens are the best bet.

No, but I don't think that accounts for the displacement I felt...I wasn't on the ship, most of the time.

[He laughs a little at the next part.] Tony must love that. A talking spaceship. I'll have to have a conversation with her when I've settled into things a little bit.

Just figured ya might wanna know.

It's been mighty handy. We've been learnin' all sortsa things from her... just takes a few tries to get it into words that make sense.

It is interesting information, thanks.

I'll see if there's anything I can do to coax her into getting it right on the first try.

Been makin' Doc McCoy right grumpy.

Trouble is she forgets we ain't thinkin' on the same level she is. By the time she gets it in words we understand she's tellin' us it's a gross oversimplification. But maybe you'll have better luck on that front.

It's comforting to know he's still here, at least. I caught brief glimpses of people sometimes, while I was out there, but...

I might, actually. I mean, it can't be that much more difficult than communicating with Tony.

I wonder if that had to do with when we kept thinkin' we saw somethin' on board...

[It was always a bit creepifying. But the more they learned about Salvation the less of a surprise it was]

We could probably get her to answer that, actually.

It might, as that was the same kind of sensation I experienced on my end. If I was in fact "between" realities or something of that nature, there might have been places where I was...closer to this reality. Which would explain how I was finally able to return.

I'd certainly like to hear her explanation. [sheepishly] I'm just making an educated guess, at this point.

Apparently we all wound up on board 'cause we fell into some sorta in between place and she rescued us. Guess folk coulda fallen back, 'specially with not everythin' workin' right on board.

Her name is fitting, then. And yes, that may have had something to do with it. I wonder if the pods were affected at all...have they been inspected yet, after all that?

Made sure the life support was stable, but not sure 'bout more than that. I've had to stick to the parts I could send Artoo to check or get Kaidan and Tony to scan.

...Who is Artoo? New member of the team?

Robot. I bring him up to the ship sometimes to keep him out of trouble.

[Not quite as vital as it was for Threepio, but it's still important]

[He's grinning, because robot.] I'm sure Tony loves that. I'd like to meet him sometime.

Reckon that can be arranged. Ya plannin' to head out to the ship a lot?

I think so, yes. I'll probably multitask between helping with ship repairs and assisting Dr. McCoy, if I can manage it. [He likes to keep busy as much as he possibly can.]

Time difference should help with that. With a whole day on the ship not even bein' two hours outside. I've been workin' on a project with Tony in the afternoon.

[Which was probably Tony trying to distract her from all the crazy]

I'm sure the doc'll be glad for extra help.
