A New Arrival

[The video comes on to a young man in his mid-twenties. Fit, tanned, and very attractive, his eyes - a bright sea-green color - are confused and he seems to be struggling to hold his concentration on the task at hand - which is operating the handheld device that he found in his room. He's dressed only in what appears to be a pale greenish hospital gown, and is making no particular effort to hold it closed. He looks rather lost, and perhaps too confused to even really be afraid. His eyes have circles under them, and a telltale puffiness that gives away that he's been crying recently, and perhaps for some time. He looks into the device finally, his eyes focusing for the most part]

Can someone tell me where I am? I don't think this is Thirteen anymore...did the Capitol get us?

I...I just...

[He trails off, distracted by a piece of rope he holds in his hands, quickly tying several knots before looking back at the screen]

[He's too out of it for that to hit him with the impact that it probably should. He blinks a couple of times, ties a few knots in his rope, then looks back at the device.]

Huh.

[Another pause, he ties a few knots while worrying his bottom lip]

Any good fishing spots around here?

[Yeah, it's rather a non-sequitur, but he's not exactly operating on all thrusters right now, and the idea of getting away to the water sounds like something that could help put everything into perspective at the moment.]

It's not far from the city. You may want to stop there first - rest up a tad, get some food.

[He falls into silence again, staring rather blankly, not really looking like the kind of person who should be wandering anywhere by himself, before snapping slightly out of it again.]

I'm in a hospital gown. It must have 'snatched me' from the hospital. I kind of don't remember. I've not been...exactly well, you see.

[He furrowed his brow as if he were trying to work this all out, through the haze of depression and confusion he was already dealing with]

So...a ship kidnapped me...then...crashed?

That's the short of it. But if you want me or someone else to come and get you, I'm sure there's a pair of pants one of us can dig up somewhere.
