If there's anybody here who specialises in neurology, we need to talk.
[Yep, that's it. No, he's not explaining further than that. Sorry?]
[locked to Ian]
So tell me, what makes you so unique.
[Nope, he's not going to bring up either Xavier unless Ian asks.]
[locked to Jocelyn]
You may find this building more comfortable.
[Given just how much work he and Charles have done to try and make sure of that, he hopes so.
For Jocelyn's sake. Of course.]
Assuming you're willing to move out of the flop, that is.
[locked to Fox]
Charles wishes to inform you that, should you require it, there is space in this building for you to stay.
Whether you accept it or not, your assistance will also be required, soon.
[locked to Israel]
[There's a location ping here to a building in the Port Town. While he still may not be completely comfortable with adding this message, he's forcing himself to push past his own discomfort. Charles wants to keep their makeshift group together, and Erik's finally ready to admit that Israel is a part of it, whether he accepts this offer or not.]
The door's open.
ooc; takes place Tuesday night, after this log

I...am certain I will, Erik. If you're sure.
permalocked;
We wouldn't have made the offer otherwise.

Thank you.

Thank me by talking him out of risking a self-induced coma.
no subject
What is he planning to do?
no subject

Does Charles mean to build it? [Her tone is a blend of excitement and bewilderment.]
no subject
[And regardless of just how confident Charles may be about it, Erik knows they're going to end up taking a risk by building it alone.]
no subject
Is there anyone here you'd trust to help?
voice; Erik
[He had been taking a liking to sleeping in the makeshift shelters he had around the woods, setting up shop in new places...but an actual roof would be lovely.]
What's this "assistance" business though? You guys got another buddy with a dog collar?
permalocked;
[Because apparently some people like more in their bedrooms than just a bed and a table. Go figure.]
We're going to need a large supply of pure metals. Your skills may come in useful with gathering it all.
no subject
[He chuckles.]
I think I could help you out. I can't sense them or anything, but I can handle some laboring. As long as your not going Titanium hunting.
[About Titanium....]
no subject
Labour isn't an issue. What does matter is whether you know just how hot you can burn yet.
[Well, so does his level of skill with finer details. But that doesn't involve his real power, so he'll leave that to Charles instead.]
no subject
[A pause.]
But if it is small enough. Keep it isolated to just my hands like I've been practicin', I can work with Aluminum no prob. Iron and Copper have melting points way higher and I've managed them just fine in small pieces...most of the time.
[Worked and molded yes. But actually used himself as a forge? Not quite. But he wanted to try something new he'd been thinking on.]
no subject
[Small amounts are all well and good, but-]
Have you ever attempted to extract metals from ore?
no subject
[But his interest sure did perk at the idea.]
I never thought about it...if I could melt away the rock enough if anything I could make it easier for you to draw it out.
We could try it both ways. Our powers are kinda complimentary in that scope.
[And Fox finds he rather likes that. Scary as all things could be, he couldn't argue with the fact it was pretty damn neat. If it worked at least.]
permalocked;
Let's start with just what you can do.
this pattern forever :3

Your turn.

[Ian blinks, and then relaxes a little bit.] I can react to things before they happen, sometimes. Like if someone tries to hit me, I can react a second faster.
Do you know about Tower Prep?
no subject
No. Should I?
no subject
It's...a school for kids like me, with special abilities. But we're trapped there and we can't go home, just like this place.
no subject
[It's a completely flat tone. The idea of anyone with abilities being singled out like that will never sit right by him. Even less so when it's under the guise of a public service.]
How many of you are there?
no subject
[then, he pauses] We're pretty sure Tower Prep isn't just a school. We found the lower levels through hidden passages, and it's built on top of an old laboratory. They won't ever tell us what they're training us for, either.
