[ The video opens with an aerial view of the stampede. Kara's flying over, seeing where they're going, before dropping down to land behind the stampede.

She's about to turn the video off when a straggler she missed before rams her hard, sending her across the earth. She lands heavy, nearly crushing the phone in her palm before she jumps up because the dinosaur is still going straight for her. She takes off into the air again, the camera catching a surprised look on her face before she lands on a rock and finally switching the video off. ]

< What are these things?

Are they dangerous? > [ Besides ramming and trampling people of course. ]

Earth reptile, supposedly extinct for millions of years.

[Yeah, it makes about as much sense as you think it does.]

They're mostly prehistoric megafauna from Earth. They're currently dangerous because they're in a panic and seeking refuge from the fire.

We need to find people capable of diverting a body of water or creating a fire break to put out the fire, or a way to herd the animals.

Guiding the herd would be immensely helpful if we could figure out how to do it.

[A little part of him wants to divert the animals towards the domes, since the Authorities are acting so curiously. But that would probably cause damage they couldn't afford, and they could stand to earn a few more points with the Inhabitants.]

At the moment, predator and prey have no relevance in the animals minds. They're stampeding. If the larger ones can be made to move to a safe area, the rest should follow.
