Hello! Um, I'm told that there are others of you out here that arrived on the ship? Which is pretty interesting! Have any of you investigated it at all? Do we know where it came from? I mean obviously we all got on it somehow—which is another thing to investigate, now that I mention it, because I have like zero memory of that—but if anyone's taken some more diagnostics on it that I was able to do in a few hours I'd love to compare notes! I guess I'd also appreciate if someone could fill me in on the situation out here, since this is... not anywhere near any place I've ever been, based on my GPS.

Oh, um! I forgot to introduce myself, ahaha... anyway, I guess you can call me Judy? I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you; um, feel free to say hello? Hi.

I see Shepard's already given you the sitrep, but my name's Kaidan, I'm one of her people, and it's good to meet you, Judy.

Words like 'diagnostics', 'GPS' and 'compare notes' catch my eye when they're all bunched together like that. You coming from a tech background?

We're short on functioning computers on this side of the dome, at least from what I've seen, but the Authorities have the tech for them.

If we got our hands on some of it, your skills could be critical. I dabble a little, but it's a) not my primary field and b) probably the wrong era of tech for me anyways.

Yeah, wrong era -- nobody is really sure what the actual year is here, and we have people from different times waking up in the pods.

2186 for me, I've met others from the early 21st century. The ruins here are somewhere in the 20th to my eyes.

Granted, even in my time every major human programming language still goes back to a derivative of C if you go deep enough. Maybe between us we can bash something out.
