[001 | Video]
[The video opens on a fuzzy image that, for those inclined to track patterns, resembles the quality of Kaidan's earlier recording-of-a-recording. The subject matter is a little different: two buildings, three storeys tall each, one listing into the other, which has itself begun to buckle in the middle.
More unusual are the small, snapping arcs of electricity, in size not dissimilar to those created by touching a doorknob while static-charged, that flicker on the edges of the screen's display, and the faint, flame-like flicker of an odd blue haze.]
I need assistance. Anyone who is capable of moving large pieces of rubble without further destabilizing the structure. I have managed to halt the decay of the situation, but I have people trapped, and I cannot reach them and hold the collapse both.
The building is to the east-southeast of the ship, roughly a kilometer and a half out. It should be recognizable from this image.
Haste would be...appreciated.

I can help.
[He's already airborne.]

[Wing, you are big.
...And remind her a little of a Geth Destroyer or an Atlas which is possibly colouring her reaction a little.]
Any added stress may collapse the building entirely, and there are people still trapped inside.

[He slows his flight, shifting back to his bipedal mode, hovering.]
So there's nothing I can do?

We are all stranded here together. We suffer, live or die, together. There is no place for withholding help to our own.
I will be very gentle with your injured.

[Profiteering, scam artistry, opportunism - her tenure as Shadow Broker has given her a bleak look at the behaviour of people during a crisis.
A second transmission comes a minute or two later.]
I have an ally inbound - Major Alenko - is there any chance you could expedite his arrival?

[Nothing like seeing war destroy your planet and having to flee in terror for your life to make one appreciate peace.]
I would be happy to. If he'll have me.

I do not think he would turn aside assistance. At least, not now.

[The hint of strained relief in her voice suggests the gratitude is both for the aid and for the haste; she's strong, but she's only so strong.]

Audio:
You'd probably need a few of them to actually lift somebody anyways. How many life signs?

Re: Audio:
What's your plan on the extraction? I, uh, would probably do better in a support role.
[Which is to say that he's starting to get hints of an aura, despite his attempts to keep fed and watered and grab what rest he can. And this headache, hours off though it may be, is going to be a doozy.]
Audio:
There's a break in the transmission; once it resumes, she adds:] An ally will rendez-vous with you to hasten your arrival. And he is willing to help with med evac.
Re: Audio:
[His answer after the pause comes after a nod that... doesn't transmit. Sheepishness undercuts his brisk assent.
Got it. Who should I be looking for?
Audio:
[Omni-tools: occasionally really remarkably useful. Here, Kaidan, have a copy of this video feed.]
Switch to action? Want in on this, Wing?
[He's spoken with Wing once before. It's still good to be sure.]
My internet is CRAP lately so sorry!!!! [video]
[It's always better to ask than to just show up.]
Re: My internet is CRAP lately so sorry!!!! [video]
Hell yes. It'll take me another fifteen minutes to get to the collapse site on foot otherwise.
[Wing shifts from his flight mode to his bipedal mode, dropping lightly to his feet several feet away from the other.]
I can get you there in under a minute, if you can withstand some flight stress?
[Action! -- should we head over to the logs shortly?]
My gear's rated for space and has mag clamps on the boots, so as long as you're not pulling anything too high-g I should be good. Uh... how do we do this?
[Action! we can head over right now! ]
[He nods, grinning.] That's more than enough! I'm not spaceflight capable, myself.
[And then he folds down into his jet mode, popping the amber canopy of a cockpit. When he talks, he sounds a bit nervous.]
I think like this? It's a bit new to me. [Congratulations, you're his first passenger ever.]
And tagged in over at the log!
[Even as he double times it to the suddenly-plane, Kaidan still has time to vent a surprised huff.]
That's, uh... Impressive. Thanks.
[And he's quickly aboard, settling into a seat and securing himself, then crossing his arms over his chest to still reflexes to pilot a self-piloting craft. It's a quick trip, at least -- not too much time to have to fight against his instincts.]

[Even in as short a time as they've been communicating, strain has leached further into Liara's voice.]
I will see you when you arrive.
((Got a log thread started up here, whenever the two of you want to hop over.))
