[ 001 : Audio -> Video ]
[Peter's grabbing his actual communicator after trying to call Gwen at least six times and discovering that nope, his smart phone doesn't have a connection down here. In this. Wherever he is.
There's a long moment where he wonders if he's been snagged by someone - not the cops, definitely not the cops, but maybe Dr. Connors or Oscorp or someone, when he'd been walking through the sewer-
He clicks on the audio, holding it like a phone as he starts moving away from the pod, starting to explore a little more, still in the costume.]
Gwen? Are you-
[The audio cuts abruptly for several minutes, because things are starting to fall into place and either this is a really, really weird dream, or he got yanked out of the sewers of New York City by aliens. And now he's stuck on some ship in a strange... somewhere. He can't feel the ship moving, really, there's no hum under his feet from an active engine or something.
The next part is a video feed, and Peter's changed out of the costume by now. He might not be great at keeping the mask on sometimes, but he figures it's better to try and keep the secret for now. He looks a little roughed up. There's scrapes and bruises on his face - over his left eyebrow, his jaw, his cheek, the bridge of his nose - and there's sort of a resigned-but-desperate edge to the way he addresses the camera, because seriously, he really can't be here right now.]
So, uh, I have no idea what's going on, but I really need to get home, like, now. So if someone could point me in the direction of whoever brought me here, I'd really, really appreciate it.

[There's a voice, but nothing but an empty, open sky on the video screen. It seems that the source is either very bashful, or someone who feels that showing their face might not be the best thing for another new arrival. Let's ease into that, hmm?]
Do not be alarmed, young one. You, like many of us, have been brought to another planet for reasons not yet fully understood. We do not know precisely who is responsible, and there does not seem to be any immediate way to return home.
[No matter how unpleasant it was, he certainly said it with a cheerful, reassuring voice. Hopefully that would help.]
You are not alone in this, however! If there is anything you need, please let us know.

Another planet? No, no no no no, I need to get home now. Like, right now. What do you mean, you don't know who brought us here?
no subject
I'm truly sorry, my friend, but you may be here a while yet.
No, we are all quite lost on what force is responsible for our arrival, but perhaps you can take heart in this: many here believe we were brought here for a greater purpose.
There is a struggle happening here, Brother, and we are in need of strong hearts to win the day.

[But there's something that makes him screech to a halt before he says anything too, too incriminating. He doesn't know who he's even talking to, he doesn't know what they know about him already, but he has a funny feeling immediately blurting out that he's Spider-Man might not be a great idea.]
I need to get back. No one's tried to fess up and say they're behind it yet? Because usually it seems like someone's dying to take credit for this kind of thing. [You know. In movies. Peter has zero personal experience with this. :|]

I understand your anxiety, young one. Many of us have left behind something crucial yet to be done.
Just the same, I'd advise you not to rush ahead. All things are revealed with time.~

I certainly Hope it will also help pass the time that you seem so eager to expend.

So Peter is just. Kind of gaping a little bit.]
Wha- Who are you?
[video] funny you should mention Alien: I have Hudson here. :D
I'm Wing. Cybertronian. And, [He looks more than a little guilty] I mean no harm.
[video] Eeeee I saw, I love Aliens :c
It's- Fine, I've just never, uh, you know, talked to a giant robot before. Cybertonian. Sorry.
[video] :D
[You would have to try a lot harder than that to offend Wing.]
Are you injured? Do you need something?
I'm fine. I just- need to get home.

I'm afraid none of us have quite figured out how to do that yet.
[The smile fades, then, in favour of concern.] Are you all right? Our hospital's a tad crowded at the moment, but there's always room to be made.
Video
How bad was the attack?
Video
...It was - [His glance flickers, voice lowering.] it was quite brutal, all told. [He's been trying not to think too hard on it, really, to focus on the aftermath.] The hospital is still standing, at least, but we lost at least eighty people. Far more than that were injured.
[...A wry smile.] As you can see.
Video
Hey Parker, remember when the biggest problem in your life was trying to avoid pissing off Flash and getting your homework done on time?]
And it was because we're here. Even though none - or at least most of us, I guess - want to be here.
Video
I imagine the situation would be dire regardless, however. [His lips curl in a slight scowl.] The Authorities don't seem to need very much excuse for barbarity.

voice; locked to peter.
At least, nobody who's set foot on the network.
[Which changes the information pool pretty drastically, but let's not get into that right now.]
voice; locked.
What about people off the network?
