furhat: (Problem?)

[Alucard was standing next to a somewhat damaged tunnel entrance. She seemed pretty fine...aside the fact that she was collared, and a tad bloody.]

Now, now. I'd advise those of you with a weak stomach not to head down this path. Just friendly advice.

[She nodded at the tunnel, then smirked and poked at her collar.]

For mere chained dogs, these soldiers were remarkable enemies, don't you think? Almost mindlessly ttacking, without any consideration for their own humanity, or that of their allies, I think dog is actually a bad name for them. Ant seems to fit quite a bit better.

[Obviously Lyall has poked at his communicator, and obviously he's found it doesn't work exactly like the aethographer it's modelled after, but it wasn't until the raid that he realized people were actually using the things for communication. He hasn't done much with them, himself, but he's been listening some.

And now he's actually attempting a reply. It's dim, since he's actually in those tunnels of hers at the moment, but still clearly visible. His voice is a bit tired, or maybe just resigned.]

So all of those bodies were yours?

[His lip curls just a little at the sight-- he's seen some of it, prowling the newly rearranged and half-collapsed tunnel system during some of his daylight hours-- and he shakes his head, looking away from the feed she's showing him.]

I don't see how that was entirely necessary, but I suppose I am pleased you did some damage and kept them from harming others. I see you got a bit of a gift for your troubles.

Enjoying-- the sight of you with a collar?

[He looks honestly perplexed by this. She might be a vampire, and a rather annoying one at that, but she hasn't done him any harm, nor anyone else from what he can tell. She's actually the closest thing to normal he's come across, here.]

Why would I? As far as I've been able to gather, those are dangerous things and should be removed, once you have enough people to help you do so.

[He looks a little affronted that she is really that quick to think poorly of him.]

Miss Alucard, if I have given you any reason to believe that I might take pleasure in your suffering, I sincerely apologize. I would at the moment suggest you contact Major Alenko, as I believe he has the knowledge of how to remove them.

[He participated the evening before, after all, so he knows this for certain. He supposes he would even help, if she needed a third person.]

oh, it's no problem at all ^^ she's fun, after all

[The smile she gets back is faint and perhaps a bit sad. She's right, after all; he is a bit butler-ish, like any good Beta, or so he feels. That just reminds him of home, though, and the fact that he is alone here.]

I will admit to being a bit unusual, even among my own. A good Beta usually is. Though if you find me that surprising, I don't think I want to meet any of your... usual specimens.
