[For a guy who just got kidnapped by aliens, Bruce is looking remarkably calm. He's quiet, too, and doesn't exactly carry himself with any sort of confidence. More to himself than to anyone else;]

As if the invasion wasn't enough. Though somehow, I think these guys are different. I just hope they're not Loki's allies, too.

[Then he pauses, glancing around the ship, which he's still standing in.] I'm going to see what I can figure out about this technology....maybe I can get things working again. If anyone I know is out there, please let me know you're all right.

For anyone else who might be listening...can you tell me anything about this place? Where is it, and who's in charge? I'd like to speak to them. At least, if they can understand English. If not, I guess I'll have to pick up another language.

((ooc: he's wearing the same outfit he is in the icon, cauuuse that's his canon point basically. :3))

[That smile makes Steve give a small awkward smile in response. He's not sure if levity is appropriate, but it's Bruce, and someone who understands the whole Avengers thing and isn't Tony is extremely nice to have around.]

I haven't seen him since I've been around and hiding doesn't seem to be his style.

Ms. Potts and Mr. Stark are here. [Note who gets named first.] You might know a few that I don't, there seem to be a lot of people who speak your language around here. [Guess who looks slightly embarrassed that he doesn't speak Science?]

I'm living near the hospital, around the same area as Ms. Potts actually. You're welcome anytime. [he'd explicitly offer a permanent place of residence, but he knows how that would probably be received]

I think that'd be swell. I can't guarantee that I'd understand everything, but it would be nice to follow along. How would you even start teaching something like that?

Oh really? No, I didn't know. That's pretty great though. Gives you a head start on teaching someone who studied art.

What were you a professor of?

[Just the mention of nuclear physics already making Steve feel like he might have gotten in over his head.] Is there a project that I could help you with? Something I could see would be easier for me to understand that something on paper, I think.

Not that I'm, uh, asking you to build a tesseract or anything.

Sounds good to me.

[Steve's face goes a little flat as Bruce unexpectedly considers his statement.] It's not something we should rush into anyway.
