[Havok's still in his new suit from the training he had thought he was in the middle of. Now he was grateful he had made it black, after all. It made keeping to the shadows in a strange place easier.]

[He gave the odd stature of the other mutant a furrowed glance before shaking his head. Okay. So his temporary partner in abduction was the hunchback of freaky eyes. Whatever. He had worked with stranger mutants.]

[there's that name again. he doesn't question it this time though. not after his conversation with quicksilver. but having havok use it feels...strange. he didn't take on another name yet for a reason.]

Firstly, I'm not the one responsible for this. And secondly, Azazel isn't here.

[luckily. if he were, the other mutant would be at the brunt of his anger, given his role in the murder attempt on charles. there's a pause before he continues, half tempted to just lie a little. havok had been quick to rise through the ranks, back home. so having him on his side here would be a benefit. but havok is also still one of them. he's a mutant. so he's the last person he's going to start lying to.]

[Coming from anyone else, Alex would have fought that. Shrugged it off or assumed they had either lost it or spent too much time around people like Beast. But from Magneto? He had a hard time fighting the urge to believe it. As far as he knew, Magneto had never lied to him. Even about things he knew would make Alex want to step back from the Brotherhood.]

[He ran a hand through his hair with a frown.]]

[This wasn't good. Realities and space travel and time? How could all that be real? Well.. if mutants could be, he guessed it was not quite as farfetched as he wanted to believe it was.]

[It was so easy to just fall into that. We. As if this really was the Magneto who had taught him how to control his powers. How to control his anger in a way that was more productive than just bottling it up until the time bomb exploded. To let it loose in training or against their enemies.]

[he doesn't see any reason to correct that assumption. as long as they're both there and alex is willing to work with him, then erik has no problem considering them a team, of sorts. the havok he knows had already proved his worth before, and if this version has sided with another erik, then he knows it's only a matter of time before the same is true between the two of them too.]

If I had an answer to that, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now.

[More people from other universes. Charles shrugged off the curiosity and the slight distress at knowing that in at least one universe, Alex had also left with Erik. That had been their choice. He would not have stopped any of them if they had wanted to go. Nevertheless it hurt his selfish pride.]

Alex. If you will calm down a moment, I believe I can explain some of what is going on. Preferably not over these devices.

[Professor Xavier. Well. That's a relief. Or at least, more a relief than anything else. A familiar voice and face in an unfamiliar place and just enough to grasp onto. And Charles called him Alex, so he knew him. That was good.]

Professor Xavier. Have somewhere in mind?

[There is still a part of him reluctant to willingly open his mind to a telepathic communication. The tiny sliver of doubt that Charles would take more drastic measures to sway him back to the more passive side of the war. He couldn't. He could let Xavier and his mutants keep their hands clean while he dirtied his own to help Magneto ensure their freedom.]
