[Audio | 004: Back in the Saddle] Thursday, Week 11
This is an open broadcast, so I'm not going into too many specifics, but I'm taking a trip back to the port town to make some shipping arrangements. This will be a much lighter and faster trip than the last one, as we'll be going on horseback.
Assuming that I don't doom us all with my equestrian skills, I could use a couple people interested in coming along as outriders -- you should be able to ride and capable of defending yourself and, um, me, if it comes down to it. Bring small goods if you're interested in trading for goods or supplies in a more varied market -- like the Old City, the port town functions on a barter economy rather than a currency-based one.
[SO HEY, Pepper's going to try and make arrangements to get a grain shipment for the Old City, since the crops aren't too awesome right now. This isn't a full-on plot like last time, just a little thing what can be done. Bruce-mun's already on board with this, but I could use one more person if you're interested! Got my second person! But Pepper's likely to be making a lot more trips, so if not this time for people, then certainly future. (Or she can set you up to go in your own group too!)]

[Rueful Pepper is rueful, although one corner of her mouth twitches slightly into a half-smile.]
That said, getting the trade routes more solidified would probably help the situation here a lot. Edmund can probably make a lot of use of your skills, if you enjoy things like that.

[She grins, glad to know there's excitement to be had in this wasteland.]
Where can I find this Edmund?

[Considering that Stark Industries was an arms manufacturer for so many years and Pepper never had a problem with it, she really shouldn't be mildly unnerved by someone's enthusiasm for stabbing things. Nevertheless, it takes her a moment to get her smile tuned back to pleasant efficiency.]
Edmund keeps a shop near the centre of the Old City. If he's not there, someone will undoubtedly know where he is likely to be found.

[The look on her face suggests that she's not talking about daggers anymore.]
I'll try to track him down.

[The deadpan look on Pepper's face, paired with a dryly amused tone, suggests that she's twigged to that.]
Best of luck. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions.

I think I've got that aspect covered, but if I run into anyone who looks like they could use a few pointers, I'll send them your way.

I like your style. I'm Isabela. Perhaps we'll be of some use to each other in the future.

At the very least, I look forward to sharing entertaining stories as soon as I can track down what passes for a local tavern.

[Pepper's dimple returns.]
I'm all in favour of free enterprise, so I'd be more than willing to help.
