First Howl [Audio, Monday night]
[This is the first time Lyall has ever actually posted something to the network, but he's giving it a try. There's no reason to go about what he wants alone, after all, and while he could just walk to visit a couple friends, he might need more than just Chime, Kaidan Alenko, and Liara T'soni-- and Eliot, if he could convince the man-- to keep from being overwhelmed and missing some of his prey.
So here he is, clearing his throat on an open network post. He hasn't got his face showing, just his voice, but that's more luck than intent. Despite his discomfort, he still manages to sound self-assured and urbane.]
Ah. Hello. This is Randolph Lyall speaking. It has come to my attention that there is a pack of small predatory dinosaurs to the south of the city that is causing some concern.
[Trust the werewolf to call the beasts a "pack" when he doesn't know what other word to use.]
I plan on doing something about that in the next few evenings. If anyone would like to join me, the endeavor would probably be more successful. If anyone is interested, please contact me on the communicator, or visit me in the hospital's office tomorrow morning.
Thank you.
[He disconnects, and somewhere invisible to the network at large, he slumps back in his chair and runs a hand over his hair. Stressful, that thing! He hates being in the spotlight in any fashion.]

[To someone who is both a wolf and a shepherd, it seems completely obvious, and he actually sounds puzzled that she has to ask.]

[Audio]
So is a rat when it gets into the grain. That does not mean the farmer should not employ cats, Miss Ella.
[Audio]

[Audio]
Cats are following their instincts too. They would chase the mice, even if that wasn't their express purpose.
[Audio]
My dear Miss Ella, I do happen to be a hunter by nature, as much as any cat. I may not look it, but I assure you it is true. And if hunting in this case feeds the city and protects the city's horses, I will gladly do it.
[Audio]
You're ready to hunt again.
[It's more of an observation, than a question.]
[Audio]
[If she knows anything about werewolves-- or if her werewolves are not to different from his own-- she might even put two and two together and guess what's coming up: the full moon. But even if she doesn't, she does at least seem like she understands.]
Will it help if I promise not to cause them undue pain, Miss Ella?
[There's a bit of a tease in there, somewhere. Just a bit.]
[Audio]
Please?
[Audio]
I will do my very best.
[And if this were video, he would be doffing his hat to her there. But it's not, so she'll just have to imagine it.]
[Audio] Aww. He's so sweet.
Thank you.
[Audio] He's a gentleman!
[Audio]
I'm okay.
[Audio]
[Audio]
[Audio]
[Liara sounds terribly intrigued. She hasn't seen any small dinosaurs yet.]
[Audio]
Then I will gladly accept whatever assistance you offer, Doctor T'soni. It will have to be in the evening, of course. Would you prefer tomorrow night or Wednesday?
Can I assist? I have some advantages that may be useful.
[Audio]
Good evening, Wing. Have you any experience in hunting very small things? These are quite a bit smaller than even a man.
