Unfortunately, I'm unable to assist at the hospital or with any projects on the ship until further notice. I'd like to discourage anyone from visiting my house, as well. I've been showing symptoms of the disease spread by the bandits. But I'm not staying at the hospital, as they need the room for those in worse condition.

In less horrible news, we've successfully predicted the opening of a pod. But our prediction rate is not 100% accurate. Two pods opened simultaneously, and we were only able to predict one.

I hope you're all well, at least. If you are, Dr. McCoy insists that someone checks up on me, or directs him to my house if they can't. [He's not super-happy about this part. Or any of it, really.]

Thanks. Professor Lyall has already offered to deliver food and whatnot, but I'll let you know if there's anything else I need.

Now might be a good time to focus on this Energon sample you gave me, as I won't be distracted by my work on the pods.

Speaking of impressive dodges...

Did you at least get yourself patched up?

Dodging the bullet would have been impressive.

Yeah. It was just a graze, but they apparently take that seriously here. Weird, right?

I don't blame them.

If you really want to come over, I have a project you could help me with. [Because resting is boring.]

[The werewolf frowns at the man's appearance, and does indeed catch that tell-tale scent as he does as bid and steps inside. At least he comes bringing gifts that may or may not help with that... he's thinking perhaps he ought to have brought another blanket, actually.]

[she has some pretty clear symptoms, but Natasha's never been one to give away a weakness if she can help it, so she's doing strictly voice here. otherwise she might worry Bruce]

I wonder what sort of variables we haven't accounted for in the prediction process? At least we've got plenty of data to compare, so that's not exactly a problem.

Oh no, not you, too. At this rate I'm going to catch it. Are you sure you're going to be okay by yourself, though?

We may need to define the process a little more by locating a distinct signal closer to the opening point, as opposed to relying on more general data from the energy surges.

I'd get bored very quickly if I just sat around all day worrying about myself.

Dr. McCoy is a brilliant doctor, I'm sure he'll get it figured out. [That's sort of an answer, right?]

I've been studying the pods and how they function for some time now, with the help of a few others.

[She can use whatever format she wants, he would just rather not be coughing when he speaks. :p]

I met her when she first woke, so she was understandably a little disoriented. But hopefully we'll be able to refine the prediction process to a point where we can have someone there for every pod opening. [Like Phil's.]

It's true, Dr. McCoy caught it in the early stages.

I've been worse. [Which is sadly true, but also not much of an answer.]

Do we have access to any surveillance equipment? If we could set up some sort of visual, it might lend us more clues.

Fair enough. [not that she has room to talk, since she's definitely coming down with something] Any idea on how long the effects last?

[Worse, hmm? Lyall is curious, but he confines that to a brief glance before setting the basket he was carrying down on the tabletop first.]

There should be bread, cheese, sliced meats, and some canned fruit slices here, plus several shepherd's pies. And probably more importantly, the three books I managed to talk Nem into allowing me to borrow. It ought to hold you for a day or two.

I hope you won't, though I'm not certain how it's being spread.

And I doubt I'll be entirely alone, considering how many people are insisting on visiting already.
