[There's a series of muffled clicks and thumps as he fiddles with the phone settings for a bit, and then his voice comes through clearer, more decisive.]

This is Hawkeye requesting a situation update on what the hell just happened to my team. And, uh. The entire operation, while we're at it.

Can anybody read me?

I know it wasn't your fault. I know whatever he did hurt a lot of people, you included. I know we stopped him, yes.

[arrowminded]

You know he was here?

[redledgerdays]

It was mentioned, but I never saw him.

[arrowminded]

That why you didn't tell me yet? [He can understand why it might not be at the top of her priority list, but he still feels a little raw about it.]

[redledgerdays]

[she knows it bothers him, but she also knows it accomplishes nothing to bring it up] It wasn't important at the time. We both know that.

[arrowminded]

I'm not sure I know much of anything at the moment. [He's still a little grumbly. Still, if Loki is planning something, he won't stay hidden for long. Funny how that reassures him.]

To be fair, that makes two of us.

[He smirks.] Not exactly like old times, is it? No intel, no mission parameters.

It's taken some getting used to. But there's plenty to do. It'll just be easier now that you're here.
