This is Hawkeye requesting a situation update on what the hell just happened to my team. And, uh. The entire operation, while we're at it.

[Pepper is looking a little less polished than Clint might remember her, some of the corporate sleekness traded in for efficient simplicity given the setting's lack of high-end clothiers and not a single Loboutin boutique. The smile she gives him is still classic Potts: small, friendly, with slight little dimples all wrapped up in a businesslike air.]

I wouldn't say we've been expecting you, but it does seem like there's a general trend of SHIELD members arriving here. Welcome to the planet Verdana.

At the moment, Tony, Bruce and Steve in addition to Natasha. Jane Foster used to be here, but has, um, returned to her pod. And on the topic of pods... well, we found one with Phil in it. Alive, just not awake. Or not awake yet, in any case. Which is what we're hoping. No sign of Loki.

He's in the pod, in stasis, but looks unhurt. We don't know when he's from, though. Tony and Bruce could give you a lot more of the technical details, but there seems to be some time-shifting at work -- we haven't all come for the exact same time. We don't know from when Phil was taken.

[she's almost to the ship now. she's doing her best to hide it, but she's not exactly feeling well, and it's slowing her down, both physically and mentally]

[And he's almost to the door out of here. Pretty soon they should meet up, stop having to talk on this thing and have a face-to-face. Which would suit him just fine.]

[There is a sigh and almost a grumble at that. GREAT. Another of her NOT people. Good ears might pick up her grumbling something to the tune of 'great... another one'... same old snark though. Awesome.]

Apparently not. [There is a pause, then a really hopeful tone in her voice] Wasp? Janet? Jan? [another pause...] We've got nothing going here, do we? No bells ringing at all, huh.

I think the owners of the ship that brought us here may have included a baseline level of paradoxes to explore, just to keep Tony and Bruce, at least, out of too much trouble.
