[Compared to the last time he was on the network, Pietro looks like a million bucks. A skinny, pale million bucks, maybe, but he's much less sickly. And it even looks like he's trimmed his hair at some point. Just like Quicksilver to prioritize style when he's recovering from near-death.
His expression, however, is flat, cold, and carefully dispassionate. And the background is definitely inside the ship.]
I don't know if anyone's left who actually cares, but Erik's gone. Or asleep, or whatever. He's in a pod, anyway.
[He knocks on the pod he's standing next to.]
He ditched us. Can't say I'm surprised.
Locked to the 'Brotherhood' - yes, this includes Kurt and Hope
So I guess we're out a sponsor. But Mister Mutant Solidarity did have a point. We should still stick together, when we can.

Re: Audio
Audio
Whose idea was it to yell that into the monitored network? Arschloch.
Re: Audio
Audio
[But he smiled anyway.]
I blame you if I get kidnapped by the space KGB.
Re: Audio
Whatever. Far as I know, nobody's been bothered over something they've said under a network lock. And I think that's the kind of thing people would mention, y'know?
Audio
In what universe either of us has been to is paranoia unhealthy?
Re: Audio
[Because he didn't trust anyone else to do it, frankly. Maybe if Lance were here.]
Audio
Re: Audio
[It doesn't feel right, not having an official leader.]
Audio
[He understands why you need someone in charge in combat. Otherwise it'd be chaos. But democracy for four doesn't sound hard to sustain.]
Re: Audio
[Kurt's just spoiled, since he has the teachers to be in charge. Or Scott, worse comes to worse. It wasn't like everyone didn't know that he and Jean were the next rank down, if the grown-ups weren't there to give orders.]
Audio
I think what you do then is fight over what to do. Which is how you find the good ideas, ja?
Re: Audio
[He's an X-man. Always on the winning team. Always had the better training, resources... heck, food. Of course he wouldn't understand pulling through a fight by the skin of his teeth.]
Audio
[Honestly. It's like talking to a brick wall.]
Re: Audio
Audio
[Normally he'd be pissed off by now, but his tone continues to be mild. The only real strain comes of trying to actually debate, something he's not very good at. Organized thoughts are hard.]
That and if you kick me, Hope will be pissed at you, and then you'll be dictator of two. Assuming Todd doesn't tell you to get lost, too.
Re: Audio
[If Pietro's view on Kurt is any different, he's doing a good job at hiding it. But then, he's always been sneaky like that.]
Summers can tell me herself if she has a problem.

Re: Audio
Audio
What doesn't kill you does a number on your hair?
Re: Audio
See, I'm totally leadership material.
Audio
[He manages to say it without acrimony, but only with effort. Even if he did win that particular fight, it was one of the more embarrassing incidents in X-men/Brotherhood history.]
Re: Audio
Hey, it was a good look on you, man.
