[The feed dies and picks up again a few moments later.]

The hull of the ship blocks their view. I'm working on a more permanent solution, but we're on a time limit. We need to get to the main power station and get it operational before those pods go offline for good.

It does seem things are deteriorating there. There seem to be...things happening on the ship.

Define "things". [The flicker of unease across his face is easy to miss, but there nonetheless - he'd been writing off the strange, crawling feeling of being watched as mild hallucinations stemming from the composition of air in the ship, but if the anomalies are affecting someone who shouldn't be able to be drugged, or at least drugged the same way a human might be...]

It just seems...unpleasant there. I worry that someone's on the ship, eluding me. [He's chased after skittering shadows, only to find empty corridors. It was unnerving.]

It's not the lights. [He's been in the ship day after day. He knows the lights. Even when they flicker. This wasn't that.]

And an infestation of vermin should be a cause for alarm anyway.
