[The video is turned on but, should you be someone who does not believe in Jack Frost, the video shows nothing except the scenery. The camera doesn't really seem to move. Unless, of course, one knows and believes in the entity holding the camera!

However, should you be a believer in Jack Frost, you will see a boy about eighteen with a very pale face, bright blue eyes, and white hair. He's crouched somewhere, staring intently into the phone with such a desperately hopeful look on his face. After about a minute of nothing (or staring), text finally appears.]

Can anyone see me? I've been here for a few hours now, please tell me someone can see!

[There's another pause.]

Fine. Can anyone at least answer this? I'm looking for a couple people and they're pretty hard to miss. There's North, though you guys would may know his as ol' St. Nick, aka Santa. There's Tooth, definitely can't miss her. She's got feathers all over with fairy wings, aka the Tooth Fairy. Sandman is a little guy, but he generally floats around on a sand cloud and then there's the Easter Bunny. Over six feet tall, carries some boomerangs and egg bombs, complete with an Australian accent. If you've seen them or if any of you guys are reading this, let me know!

Please. Tell me if you see me. I gotta know.

[ She laughs. ] And how do you get the attention of a girl?

[He tilted his head.]

Why specifically a girl?

Oh. I apologize. Is there a boy?

Uh. No? [He's confused. Did Jamie count? But he already had his attention considering he could see Jack.

Sorry, Jack's been alone for 300 years. Certain social cues are quite lost on him.]

[ She giggles. ]

I see. You are just learning. [ So should she continue teasing him? Because it's going wayyy over his head. ] I am Sigyn Freyasdotter, and it is a pleasure to meet you, Sir Frost. Shall we meet face to face?

Learning what?

[He frowned a bit at that. What was he missing? He sighed, oh whatever. It was probably not that important anyway.]

You can just call me Jack. I'm on the outskirts of the Old City, on the road to the ship.

[ She arrives there quickly, her long legs toned for running and the rough terrain of the Old City grounds (there is reason as to why Vanir are compared to mountain goats in more lighter ways than their breeding habits.) She wears her cloak, hood up and smiles from beneath the shadow of her hood as she comes around the ship, putting up a hand in greeting. ]

Sir Frost!

[He's sitting perfectly balanced on his staff, thin legs in a crouched position as he continues to type on the communicator. Just because no one else saw him doesn't he can't stop talking to them. It was one step closer to being seen!

He looks up when he hears his name and grins a little.]

You're quick. I told you, you can just call me Jack.

[ She's in awe of his perfect balance upon the thin wooden craft, but returns the smile, all toothy. ] A Vanir is always prompt, Sir Frost. [ At the mention of dropping formalities, she shakes her head, naughty. ] If that is your wish, Frost, then so be it.

[ She comes up to his staff and stares at it in wonder, a finger coming out to poke at its side. Perfectly carved... ]

...the dwarves have never made anything like this.

[A blue light shoots through the staff at the touch and she would feel how cold the staff is, perhaps even leaving a little bit of frost on her.

He stayed balanced as she poked it, though he watched closely to keep himself from losing focus.]

What's a Vanir? And a dwarf didn't make this. It's just a stick I found that's pretty much stayed with me since becoming Jack Frost. It's sort of a conduit for my powers.

[ The cold is sharp, yes, but Sigyn has been in presence of Jotunns for quite some time that she doesn't mind. Their cold kisses upon the cheeks, cold hands in her warm hands, and the soft feel of frost tickling skin when she'd been seated in their laps (of course she refers to her Auntie Gerd, her Uncle Freyr's dear wife who would chase a young Sigyn through her and Freyr's house when Sigyn stayed for visits.) She even reaches out and grasps the staff. ]

This is no stick, Sir Frost. It is much too lovingly crafted to be what ...you just said it was. [ She leans forward and presses her forehead to the wood. ] Ah. It makes me miss my Auntie.

I'm telling you, it wasn't carved. Just a well placed stick that ended being my staff. I won't deny its significance though.

[Jack was starting to get a little uncomfortable with her grasping his staff andveven laying her head on it. He jumped off and held it close.]

Uh, that's great. So anyway, you never told me what a Vanir was.

Vanir is a child of Vanaheim. Of the Nine Realms and the Yggdrasil tree. [ She backs off when he jumps down and pulls his staff to him. A little put off, she closes her eyes. ] We are farmers, healers, and fishermen.

Oh. That's pretty cool.

[He's pretty protective of his staff, hardly ever let's go of it. He has no idea what a Realm or the Yggdrasil tree is. Well, sort of. He had heard OF it but, it never concerned him much.]

[ She opens her eyes, smiling warmly once more. She thinks that Jack isn't all that different, he just is from a different culture. She has to respect that and modify her actions in order to respect his. ]

Well, yes, Vanaheim is quite cool this season. Snow everywhere.

[He laughs.]

Uh, that's not quite what I meant by cool but good to know it's winter there. Snow is always fun to play in.

[ Her laugh joins his. ] Very much fun! [ She stretches her arms out and spins on her heel like a dancer. ] Frost from hill to hill! I -- I remember when my sister and I stayed with Uncle Freyr, how I would pile onto a sled with Little Hnoss and Mischievous Syn, and we three would sail down the embankments bordering the house!

[ She whips around, spinning really, to Jack, grinning from ear to ear once more. ] Sometimes we crashed. It was all right. No lasting injuries sustained, but Auntie Gerd would go with us on the next run and she is beautiful! The snow becomes her and listens to her and I think she may even command it to do as she says.

[He reaches out his hand and a snowflake appears, spinning and twirling about his hand as he grins softly.]

You mean like this?

[He gives it a way and it flies over to her. If it hits her in the face, she'll feel a sudden cheerfulness, a happiness that always brings the playfulness out of children.]

[ It does hit her face and she's instantly overcome with absolute, unbridled joy. Sigyn is already very playful, so an extra dose makes her the equivalence of hyper. She tackles Jack in a hug, squealing. ]

Very much so!!

[Yeah hugs are something he is SO not used to. He practically freezes up, eyes incredibly wide as holy crap someone is hugging him.

He was going to have to remember not to shove magic snowflakes in her face. But he manages to calm down and pat her back awkwardly.]

[ She rests her head on his shoulder. ]

Do you want me to stop touching you?

I- uh. T-To be honest, I don't... I don't know.

[He lets himself relax a little, still trying to get used to the sensation of being held like this.]

Hugs are... a little rare for me. Since no one could see me before.

[ If he's adjusting, then she's comfortable right where she is. Sure, he's a bit cold, but nothing she isn't used to already. It's actually quite pleasant, as it cools her energy that Jack's snowflake had amplified and makes her slightly drowsy. ]

I see you. Is seeing truly believing?

For me it is. That's what it means to be a Guardian. The children must believe in you to be seen. And it wasn't like a lot of the other spirits and entities liked winter.

I am sure that there are other entities who like you.
